Shame in one’s own behavior. I am in shock at what people today —especially here in America— think, say, and do. People truly want to lean into being the worst versions of themselves nowadays, and I’ve just never been so morally appalled in my life; and I’m not historically an “outrage guy”, or some high moralist. But it’s truly shocking who the people around me have either become or just finally publicly revealed themselves to be.
