Let's see there's a lot of things I have to do this month as an Academic Librarian. I have to start instructing students which I am sort of not looking forward to because I suck at that sort of thing. Then there's homecoming coming up for the students so I will be helping in crafting an event for that as well as Halloween.
In the non-academic professional world, I am supposed to be seeing my ex again. He's supposed to help build something for me and my roommate/bestie in our apartment. I'm not sure if this will bring us back closer together or not. Only time will tell. I'm hoping it will but we shall see.
Same as every month. Recover my leg.
Almost 8 months since my surgery now and it’s not looking so good
I should have been running marathons by now and I still have a small limp.
Even if I need a second surgery I would rather get it sooner rather than later, anything to run again
And will you need a second surgery?
The problem is that my doctor seems to think I might not need one and wants to see me in 2 months.
But I know I have blockages so I’m not sure waiting is the right idea.
My biggest fear is that my doctor might not be that good and I keep listening to him at my own detriment..
Have you thought of getting a second opinion? The more time passes the worse it could be. Considering you've been left not only with a slight limp but also you don't have yet full range of motion.
According to recovery time standards on this kind of injury or operation within what time is your average full recovery?
9 months to a year should be full recovery
But I’m already late for full range of motion
I think you’re right I need a second opinion
Even a third opinion if that's possible. It's better than sitting still and waiting.
Nobody knows your body better than yourself. So you know that if everything was good you would have made a full recovery in half the time that is considered average. If your instinct is telling you that something isn't right trust it and act on it.
Thank you.
You’re the first one to tell me that in those exact words.
Everyone else secretly assumes I’m not doing the work properly because it can’t be the fault of a doctor.
Even my own family encourage me to “work harder” if that was humanly possible.
I know the effort I put in couldn’t be replicated by en entire village working together.
And yet the leg isn’t better for it.
I need another doctor.
Don't even mention it. They're words you needed to hear. You know what you have to do. Trust yourself and nobody else.
Whole month plan? lol 😂
make the best of each day to not get sick… while enjoy the fall weather.
Decorating for Halloween 🎃 😃
Unlike the crazy religous lunatics they are so boring these church people call everything demonic.
Enjoy the cool weather. Watch a few scary movies. Make chili. I used to watch football but I am about done getting emotionally involved in that, it ain't worth it. Take a trip. That is about all.
The weather is ideal this month where I live. I'm going to beach and walking inside the forest. I love autumn!
