sometimes, there's absolutely no need at all to cause a harm or hurt... nor reveal a truth either

I'd imagine some people have lost family to the many wars and conflicts, especially children... and there's no need for them to know that their parents died in horrible ways maybe, and it would just be much better if they're told that their death was quick and painless

no need to further traumatize the kids with the "cold harsh truth"

Depends on the scenario. If it’s something that affects their lives, then I think yes it would be necessary but you have to be careful about how you deliver the message… if they’re just asking me if they look fat in a dress and they’re already all made up and ready to go then I’m not telling them yes 😂

Not at all. Ever noticed how people who feel the need to go around telling the truth have no friends and are disliked and distrusted?

People tell the truth, (or let's be honest their opinion) not to help but to inflict pain. It gives them a sense of superiority over the person.

So yes you should be afraid because expressing things has consequences.

I think it depends on the situation. Sometimes a small lie can be better but I general agree that it's better to tell the truth even if it can hurt.

Men claim they want the truth, but they will spit the proverbial dummy if it is given. Most of the time it is not worth the drama.
