How do you get a EMO girl to like you?

She isn't really "emo" she just likes to wear dark make-up. She is really shy but has a side of her that no one sees. I really gotta figure this girl out its killing me! Any suggestions / advice?

If she's shy, try to talk to her on fb or get her # and text her. It will be easier to get to know her over text or fb, because if she's shy then she'll feel more comfortable talking that way to someone she doesn't know. Ask her questions about herself and let her knows things about yourself too. Talk about common interests and tell different stories about things. Just get to know her better. When you guys have become closer through text/fb, try talking to her in person more. Say hi to her in the halls and in class so she gets to be more comfortable around you in person. Try to start a conversation with her gradually in person. If you guys have any mutual friends, talk to her while she's with that mutual friend so she feels more comfortable. Compliment her too to make her feel special, but don't say anything that will make her feel uncomfortable.

You have to make yourself approachable and you have to be able to let her trust you. I mean, you can't really MAKE someone like you you just have to let her know that it's okay that to be around you. I know you don't want anybody to say "be yourself" but that is key when it comes to talking to her first. Just go up to her and say hi. Ask her a question. Does she do any hobbies or anything? For example, when I used to like this guy, I knew he loved to draw because he was drawing in his sketchpad and I'd go up to him and say, "Hey. So you like to draw?" and from there, I'd try and make a conversation. It's all about easing into everything. No need to pressure or her. Some girls aren't necessarily shy but they just don't want to talk to other people. Just confront her in an easy-going way and see what happens.

anyways.. don't call her emo she'll probably punch you in the face because "emo" is not a compliment.

It's hard for me to open up to people. takes me a really long time.

Stay committed to trying to figure her out. Ask he lots lots of questions. Talk about what you have in common that you gather from the questions. Talk about the qualities about yourself that you have in common with her. Take her to places she'd enjoy- concerts, movie, theme park. No where one-on-one ( dinner) as that's intimidating for a shy person.

People have tried to date me before by moulding themselves into what they think I want even though it's not them.

Well I guess you can just say she's shy,emo really has nothing to do with it.It seems hard to befriend some since they're distant but I have a few friends like that you just have to get to know them.You can't really get her to like you but fhe might already like you!

you should try to like her music, long flippy hair, black skinny jeans and band tees might make her more confertable around you. Then just talk to her like you would to one of your friends. Either that or grow some balls and ask the girl out!
