I find that some girls who actually have Apple shapes are claiming Pear. There is a difference.

I also know from friends how difficult it can be to find clothes like dresses which fit nicely being either good up top and too tight below or too loose up top and fitting right below.

Overall a healthy girl with a pear shaped body is very attractive

Thanks for your answer. Haha yeah I agree about the difficulty in clothes thing. For me, if I wear jeans or a skirt that fits my lower half then it's usually big for my top half, but even if I wear a belt it still doesn't look right, and my lower half is 2-4 dress sizes bigger than my top half! :)

It is a very feminine shape. Nothing beats smalller waist with wide hips - it's incredibly hot! A tallish girl with pear shaped body and a nice smile is my dream girl.

Pear shaped girls usually have thunder thighs and are for some reason typically out of shape(the ones I've seen), so it looks bad. And they tend to balloon up because they're bottom heavy.

If you can dress for the shape, it'll be more flattering.

I'm pear shaped..my thighs don't touch though. It's a pretty feminine shape. I have to try most things on before buying since certain jeans will fit my hip area but gets baggy around the legs.
