like always generalizing ONLY when it is convenient to you and refuting everyone else who comes with an honest answer as either a lie (AKA something I don't agree on) or delution (AKA I can not be wrong, REALITY is wrong) :P
all hair types can be gorgeous, I'm not going to google one, here, link
GAG user, African American with GORGEOUS hair (and more than gorgeous face), is she average? IMO she is way ABOVE average but that does not make her any less real, or any less gorgeous, and she is not "whited".
you got serious racial inferiority complex, you mention God, if you believe in something, try believing God loves you, even if you can not love yourself, if it amounts to something, peace.love.couture I love you <3 cheer up lady.
I often but definitely not always (you make AMAZING points in gender equality and sexualy responsible bahvior) disagree with you, guess it will always be the same, it is pointless for us to argue, so don't bother answering me, I will not reply, my only motivation to answer is like 10% boredom, 10% wanted to point to your emotional issues about racial topics (not to mock you or disrespect you, just, if I had a deep issua I can not see, I would like someone to point it to me), 10% (to indeed have a laugh at your "my opinion is an undeniable universal law, and everyone elses is pathetic or false" kinda attitud, but still not disrespecting, just find it funny and kind of part of your charisma), 20% to tell all black girls that read this that THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL, and quite honestly, 50% because it was the perfect opotunity to state that *littlemissamber* says she loves her hair, and well she has all the reason to.23 Reply- +1 y
I don't believe in God lmao
But I don't understand how any of this is convenient to me - +1 y
I get where your coming from (questiom asker) and it is kind of bad that everyone is putting you down.
You asked why do those races have good hair, not why other races have bad hair, everyone is kind of taking this topic awfully serious(including me, but my debate wasn't with you)
Your right everyone doesn't have amazing hair or "hair that's in" at this moment, but I do recall at one
point in time afro's were in(even worn by white people) Which I truly think was a stupid trend... - +1 y
But, was a different time. In general it's all just about blending in so everyone tries whatever it takes to do just that.
I'm sure in a bunch of years they'll be some new trend and everyone will be like, "What were they thinking" but as for now I'll agree you guys have the perfect hair for the perfect trend, but it'll die out one day
I wanna thank you (even though the pic was kinda bogies) Lbs... You didn't exactly say the ",Black" race you just named your fav. =)

nada
it's just weird how people on here do that... - +1 y
they are unrealistic, considering the average black woman doesn't look like that
just like when guys on here say they like Latinas they go to Sofia Vergara or when they say they like Asians they go to some half white/half Asian chick
there's nothing wrong with that, it's just lulz worthy - +1 y
I personally don't think it is a white washing thing. Honestly I see women looking at the pros from girls of different races and trying to find that good combo for them. Whether that be hair or skin or dress sense or other physical features.
Maybe it's me , but those original pictures didn't show average girls either - +1 y

Ouch
The "good hair" comment
I guess you proved the notion that black hair is ugly lmao - +1 y
I wasn't looking at her hair. In case you didn't notice, that's not why people make fun of her lolol
- +1 y
No, it's not
Cause it had nothing to do with her hair. It honestly just made it seem like you just wanted to be funny
Hey, you don't have to justify the good hair comment or try to recover from it

+1 yFirstly not all these ethnicities have the hair you find desirable. It cracks me up because I'm sure you're going off of what you see on the media. Anyone can have gorgeous more manigable hair it just depends on how it's taken care of. I'm black and my hair is curly soft and goes down my back but I try not to do to much to it just some oil and call it a day. Asian in my family their haircis nice it's just sometimes coarse. One of my friends is Rican and her hair was a different texture not that straight, Irish girl her hair was frzzy all the time.but really it usually mainly depends on how you taje care of it and what your hair pattern chnges to.

+1 yIt's the history of racism in western culture that causes people to believe that black people don't have beautiful hair. And while it's unlike white, Asian, and Hispanic hair, it's society that deems black hair as unattractive. But as with any hair, it takes work to make it look pretty. Nobody's hair is naturally beautiful all the time. Some people might have to put more effort in than others, but everybody has to put in effort to make their hair look like the first three pictures. I'm a white blond with long hair and even I have to use tons of product to control my frizz and keep the volume under control.
22 Reply- +1 y
Not to mention the fact that my hair won't even hold a curl.
I know this is going to sound stupid, but my friend told me this...
The angels called everyone over to brush their hair, the white people came over, then the Mexicans, when the black people turn came they didn't come they were too busy eating.
( I know it's stereotyping, but I just had to laugh & I'm black) Maybe it's true lbs.
+ like I said I'm black and I have pretty nice hair. It's long, and may not be the straightest but sure doesn't look anything like that (you really should stop stereotyping)42 Reply- +1 y
And lookie here. its a black girl that actually thinks her hair looks good like many others... what does that tell you QA?
- +1 y
Ummm... I don't know what do you think that tells me, are you trying to say it's a good thing or a bad thing.
Because I sure as HELL take pride in my hair... K! It's long, isn't nappy, soft, and everyone even other races like to touch it I'm sure you see my pic, I have nice hair! But, it's okay I don't really care what you think, because you don't know me and I don't think I have good hair I KNOW I DO... K
+ it's my own hair!
(like I said sum1 always stereotyping)

+1 yThis is such a stupid and generalizing question. Basically you're asking, "Why am I so right?" when you're so wrong. Ethnic hair is beautiful hair. I hate questions like this because you basically said that Black people have bad hair. why do you think girls are ashamed of their natural hair? Um, yeah, thanks for continuing the trend of making black women think they don't have good hair.
43 Reply- +1 y
Such a shame you can't see the beauty of her questions. They are so perfect that they have no room for the slightest criticism. She's clearly a genius in thought.
- +1 y
Well, most of society believes its true. What's the difference between thinking and repeating it other than repeating makes people realize it?
+1 yBecause God isn't real, and it's genetics and evolution that determine how hair will look.
And if nature were fair, we wouldn't have people with downs syndrome.
Nature's a bitch sometimes for a lot of reasons.
That said, I don't have a hair preference be it straight, curly, wavy, relaxed or natural afro. Honestly, I think the more important thing is "does he/she take care of it?" Any hair that is flat out ignored isn't going to look as good as if the person does "something" with it.38 Reply- +1 y
To be clear, I'm saying that "not straight" doesn't mean "bad."
It might to some people, but that would probably be an after effect of popular media failing to celebrate non-straight hair, likely because a lot of people at the top of the popular media chains are white men who have developed a preference for what they have (white women with straight hair). - +1 y
the media blame game again...
- +1 y
Well in this case it's the truth.
Generally people are attracted to people that take care of themselves, but most are also bombarded with media standards of beauty.
I find people to be more attractive when they take care of themselves. Is this due to the media? Possibly, but probably not.
I'm not as media exposed as many are, which might be why I can appreciate a larger variety. I also grew up with a very mixed crowd ethnicity wise. - +1 y
It's human nature, not the media.
- +1 y
How about this; I don't reject, as a standard for beauty, that people in media tend to be fit.
I also don't reject that straight hair can be beautiful if kept.
I submit that I personally have seen hair styles outside the social norms presented in media and found them to be attractive/beautiful.
Does that make sense? I'm sure that I'm not alone when it comes to this view. - +1 y
um, ok
- +1 y
- +1 y
I don't hate my hair
I have curly hair and while I would prefer it be straight, it's just hair. I don't straighten it so I can't hate it too much
but most people dislike curly hair and despise black hair lmao
but hey, you are on here, therefore you're "open minded"
+1 yMy hair texture is similar to the last photo and I love it so much and I feel like I am blessed to have it. It's all in the matter of opinion but there are plenty of who find the last hair texture just as beautiful and just as feminine as straight hair. You may see it as a curse but God doesn't and I definitely don't.

none of your links worked for me :/ but I'm on google chrome so I don't know if that has anything to do with it
but if your point is that black hair will get more compliments than straight, then that's a fat lie. it'll get more attention for the wrong reasons though - +1 y
It didn't work for me either when I tried to re-click them so I guess the links didn't go through. But yeah that's exactly what I'm saying and I've seen it for myself so whether you believe it's a lie or not really doesn't matter. It actually gets both positive and negative attention so no it's not exactly for the wrong reasons. My friend has hair like Esperanza Spalding and gets compliments on campus and in the city all the time (from people of all races btw).
+1 ySociety and the media make us believe that that so what beauty is. We are seeing and being told how we should look and act that we believe that its what we should really do.
And I guess in a way we have the choice to fit in a little by going with the style of the moment to keep our selves socially well balanced. But we can never be overzealously thinking about changing completely for the appeal to satisfy others.10 Reply
+1 yNot all of them do. Many of them have hair problems too, that's why companies spend millions of dollars a year trying to fix their imperfections. Not gonna lie, I am a little jelz of Native American and some Hispanic and middle eastern girls hair. I like the hair that is very thick, has some coarseness but still wavy/curly but not super unmanageable.
11 ReplyI don't think Hispanics have pure beautiful hair. I think only asains do. In asain and we take good care of our hairm we don't need chemicals or anything unlike othwr races that at least one chemical in their hair. Asains have the purest hair but next to asains would be Hispanics
00 Reply2.4K opinions shared on Other topic. curly hair ventilates better which is a better adaption for those living in regions of extreme heat. The 'straight' hair serves as better insulation, thus is a better adaption of those living in the cold.
that's my guess, anyway..04 Reply- +1 y
Cause we all know Asians, Hispanics and whites don't live in the heat and the rest do
- +1 y
if you're talking about migration of the various races, that's a recent development (in the last thousand years or so). Anyway, I'm not saying such places are "never hot," only that the heat isn't nearly as constant as it is in places with direct sunlight exposure.
but like I said, that's only a guess.. - +1 y
I guess you aren't living in the year 2013
not all people of those races have "beautiful hair". you are looking at pictures where their hair has been straightened, styled, had expensive hair products and treatments in it to make it looks smooth.
+1 yAll of them have straightened their hair.. most people have naturally wavy hair. And nowadays its actually more desirable to have natural voluminous soft curls than straight.

+1 yLol Hun most of the times their hair are not naturally straight or silky. But I do have very straight and silky hair.
21 Reply- +1 y
still straighter and silkier than certain other hair types
+1 yIndian women and arabic have the best hair of all. full of volume and really strong. but thankfully its 2013 so if you want that kinda hair there are ways to make it happen. a brazilian blowout is pretty sweet!

+1 yYou may be right that those women have pretty hair, they do. But, I think many black women have beautiful hair. It is all about how we take care of our hair and what we do with it !
11 Reply- +1 y
Agreed there's stuff you can do with Hispanic or Black hair that you cannot due with White hair.
It's wayy to soft. In addition, White people have very thin hair. It's long...but very thin which is why they go bald so fast as they age. With Black people, the hair is super thick. Everyone is different :)
We are God´s favourites, nahh ahha I'm just kidding.
21 Reply- +1 y
lol..
Many ladies rebonded their hair so it is not naturally straight, and not really silky especially after all the chemical treatments like bleaching, dying, highlighting, rebonding
00 Reply6.7K opinions shared on Other topic. I've been attracted to all different textures of hair. I think you can do more with certain hair textures than others but it doesn't mean they aren't attractive.

Just face it, she's always right and you guys are always going to be wrong!35 Reply- +1 y
Lets get one thing straight your an IDIOT... =D
Now that we've gotten that settled you couldn't be anymore than wrong... What does that tell us you ask? That you're just simply a stereotyping moron!
I have good hair... K it's part of my jeans and I'm not going to let you tell me other wise! Been like this since I waa borm always has and always will be long and I've gotten it cut short, already has grown back took like 2 or 3 months.
But, that's not my point... Tbc - +1 y
We have a right to disagree with her, do you know why? Because it's an OPINION!
And it isn't like I totally disagreed with you! I even cracked on the fact that my own race doesn't have the best hair, but like I said it's an OPINION, and I'm not going to let you tell one lil' person that I don't even know tell me I have bad hair, and like I said before sure as HELL aren't going to let you down play my race...
If what you said was true, I wouldn't even care or be passionate about it... Tbc - +1 y
But, out of all the people on here you decided to put me down?!?!? Personally, I don't see why the f**** why?
I'm not going to say that black people have the best hair, because honestly they don't, but like I said it's an OPINION, so I don't care if you agree with me, or if my race agrees with me (which I know you do about having bad hair) But, if my race says and believes that they have good hair, Who are you to say other wise? I'm sure as hell wouldn't, but then again... - +1 y
I'm not rude and belligerent... That's like me saying white girls have no butt, which applies to most but not all... But, I'm sure you wouldn't agree to that stereotypical statement. (btw I wouldn't say that)
Oh, and one last thing I'm not just black I'm also Indian and Irish, but I really didn't think it's necessary, to state, but I guess it is considering there are clearly prejudice people on here... So tell me my hair isn't good enough now... - +1 y
I'm sorry you can't see the genius in peace.love.couture's questions. you're only displaying your own ignorance by disagreeing with her. She should be our leader in race relations for how good she is in seeing what no one else sees...
