I'm just curious what you've all come to associate with that type of laugh in a text. I usually seem to think it's a mischievous laugh where the person knows something you don't and enjoys that. Just curious. Thoughts?

I either do it as a way of trying to be cute, or for something that isn't too funny, but is funny enough to get a reaction. Mainly the first one though.

it means she's laughing although in real life she probably isn't laughing but rather humoring you for something that was either mildly amusing or a dumb joke she knew was supposed to be funny.
