Girls, are tan lines on guys unattractive?

I want to get more of a tan for the summer. I can't decide if I just want to go tan at my pool or go to a tanning bed.

Does it matter to you girls if we have tan lines or would you rather us be all one color?

Thanks for all of the answers. Guess I'll be heading up to the pool. Saves me money as well. I'll admit I didn't think the results were going to be what they turned out to be. Lot of cool people on this site for sure.

I play sports so I have some pretty ridiculous tan lines so it would be pretty unfair if I didn't accept the same in a guy. It's not important to me, but I probably wouldn't like it if he went to a tanning bed. It's not healthy and it can look pretty bad.

I've never really thought about it. I really don't care if a guy is tan or not. But I definitely don't mind tan lines. I mean, I don't really like tanning bed myself so I get tan lines. How could I hate on something I have myself right? lol

I am inclined to agree. Tans lines are almost impossible to avoid unless you tan in the nude or hit the tanning both. However, I am curious if girls prefer a guy's tan line more focused at the hip section. Some examples, 1. Thong, 2. Brief, 3 Short trunks, 4, Shorts.

I think it'd be weird for my man to go to a tanning bed lol honestly I think tan lines on men are sexy! ! Kinda like the farmers tan lol looks like they were working their ass off in the hot sun.

wouldn't say attractive, but they go away quick so they're not a too bad, unless they are super obvious, I like Olive/European skinned guys, not pink.
