Not really, when those girls on pictures do it, it is more of a cute picture pose. If you do it while talking to me, I'd think you are trying to hide a broken tooth or something or have really bad breath and are ashamed to show me your pearly yellows. lmao

actually in Asian cultures girls do it because it is not considered feminine or ladylike when people see you with your mouth open. They also cover their mouths when they're surprised, too.
