This is unfortunately one of the things that I often get extremely contradicting views on comparing GAG's opinion versus real life. On here the guys adore straight hair and prefer it but interestingly enough in real life, I always see guys flirting or looking at the girls who have more wavy hair and pretty much every time that guys have complimented me my hair was wavy and in its natural state. Perhaps it's because I'm from a different country and I've learned that there's a lot of differences in comparison to how our guys see beauty versus the American view of beauty. I think that wavy/curly hair can look amazing but what makes it difficult is the fact that it's hard to style and you need to either know exactly what you are doing when styling it or you need to have been blessed with naturally pretty wavy/curly hair. Thankfully my curls are easy to manage and I often just wake up and it seems good to go, but I know a lot of girls have problems with their wavy/curly hair and for that reason straight hair will probably be preferred by them cause it's easier and convenient.
It really depends on the face shape and the style of the curls. Generally, I think straight hair gives a more simple, down-to-earth look, while curled hair gives a more fabulous look.
The girl in your link looks better with straight hair IMO. Because the curls aren't really flattering for her. I think wavy would look better on her than curls.
I have a round face, so a smooth, flat hair would make my face look so wide and it would look like I have so little hair. I put in some Taylor Swift waves in it and everybody said I look better. And I could never pull off curly hair like in TedStar's link lol I'd look like a troll doll. Guess for my round face, the hair should have volume, but also still hang down and frame my face instead of bouce around the sides.
It's all about creativity and maintenance.
A girl can have the straightest hair, but it doesn't matter if it's fragile, broken off, unhealthy and damaged.
A girl can have curly hair that looks a mess because she doesn't care for it propperly so her curls never even reach their full potential.
Wear your hair how you like. Don't be so concerned with pleasing guys.

What us guys DO hate is a girl who is constantly trying to be something she is not. A girl that "hates" her own hair is incredibly depressing. A girl that can't be comfortable with who she really is is annoying. A girl that is constantly trying to be someone else is boring. A girl that can never be comfortable with having curls if she is curly, straight hair if she has straight hair, blond if she is blond, black if she is black but is always trying to be something she is not ... that is incredibly offputting.
Straight hair, hate curly hair with a passion... It's just something I could never get on board with, I mean I've never seen someone who suits it or anyone with that hairstyle that I'm attracted to.

The majority of guys prefer straight... because I always see that on questions like these guys tend to prefer straight over curly..
But ironically when I'm out, numerous guys come up to me to compliment my hair.
They'll say "I like your hair" or "nice hair" even if I'm with other girls that have straight hair, they'll compliment mine only. I have curly hair. Just this morning I was at the mall, and this guy had to yell it out, that he liked my hair.
It depends on the girl, both in her looks and how she maintains her hair.
Straight hair is easier to maintain than curly hair, so if she doesn't put a lot of work into it than straight hair is probably better. But if she takes care of her curls, then it can look really nice.
Personally, I like to mix it up. I get bored if I just do one or the other for too long.
Everyone's saying straight, but I think curly or wavy is better, and I've heard that echoed by guys. Wavy hair is more natural-looking. A lot of girls that I know with straight hair are very pretty, but their hair is very dead and flat. Lifeless. However, it always depends on the person.
In most cases, straight. But there are girls and outfits in which curly or wavy hair looks better. Either way, change the style every once in a while to keep your hair and look in general more interesting.
I think it doesn't matter. My girlfriend always has her hair straight although I wish she changed it up sometimes. I think curling your hair is for more a date or something special. Straight is the everyday easy thing to do.

It depends on the girl. Personally, I really like curly hair (and I think big loose curls suit me) but my hair is naturally straight. I rarely bother to curl it though because it's too damaging.
