Have you ever been branded accidentally or on purpose such as running with a pen as a child tripping and jabbing yourself with the tip and now you have a permanent ink dot on your skin. Or touching something metal with raise parts. Or even a forced tattoo to mark you as part of something.
I myself had my hand pinned down as someone tattooed a mark on me. wasn't cool but young folks can do some mean stuff sometimes.
Another example was
My brother has a penny mark on his thigh. We were playing with the iron and the hot penny ended up on his thigh.

Who do you would have more empathy for the opposite gender? If your own gender acted like a POS (making the rest of you look bad), playing with people's feelings, using people for their own selfish needs/pleasure... who would actually feel terrible?

- A user that either lies to young women and enjoys wasting their time with false promises. As long as he's getting all the sex he wants he'll continue using women for years (faking love too); he doesn't care about the woman's goals nor wants. It's all about himself. He even uses some women for money too and never pays their money back.

- A golddigger that goes after wealthy man, plays the ''I'm traditional, waiting till marriage'' card to get what she wants. Her plan is to get married and then either file for divorce years later or simply staying married and cheat on him endlessly. She's a user and doesn't care. It's all about herself.
