According to my boyfriend, the National Football League is entering the most important part of the season leading to the Super Bowl. I have talked with many of my girl friends and most of them do not like professional football or even understand it; whereas most (not all guys) do. Now there are also some girls who like football. I am just curious so I will make a poll. How many people like football? Of course the poll will record whether you are a boy or girl, so I will only need two answers. Actually, I will put four in case you are from another country.

I have a three quarter sleeved solid black dress. I have always been a one tone girl, but found a couple of pieces (earrings and necklace in Kendra Scott) that are two toned. My shoes are black. I do not want to look too overdone, but the little black dress needs something. Do you think it would be ok with a two toned gold and silver, silver or gold only, or solid black. In the UK most of us celebrated new year on the 1st Jan. However there are a few places that still cling on to the old Juilian calendar and celebrate it mid January

For example
Burghead, Scotland Jan 11th
Cwm Gwaun, Wales 13th Jan
(There's probably more and I dont know why they're not the same date)
The main reason they cling to the old ways is to be awkward.

Burghead is on the North East Coast of Scotland, is surrounded by a beach and has "The Burning of the Clavie"

Cwm Gwaun is a tiny village in a valley about 10 minutes from the coast and is where, according to legend, King Arthur had his ass kicked by a giant pig.

So, you want to celebrate new year all over again, so where you heading?

We haven't had snow where I live in years yet I'm hearing they're calling for it next week. I'm getting nervous.

There are things that will benefit us more than men and other things that's more suitable for the man. Putting aside your own feelings and going for what's more beneficial for other gender (prefering their happiness over your own, even over your own safe zone) is actually a sacrifice, since you're placing someone else's needs and happiness even at the cost of losing yourself. You know you won't win much but you don't care at that moment and give in anyway.

Nowadays which gender does that the most, men or women? I think it's women now. Several long-term relationships are ending in break-ups and the woman ends up sad her time and years were wasted for nothing. She gave most of her prime years (her market value) and lost. Then she'll just be another forgotten past ex girlfriend. Sometimes that very same man finds someone else and forms a family with her within 2 years or less, much less than the time that woman gave away for nothing. She didn't benefit from that.

I know that times have changed regarding dating customs. Sometimes, some women will ask men out. My question is these days who pays for the first date? Has this changed?

I love love fashion. It is one of my favorite topics. I posted some boots last night on sale, which another user didn't know about and she bought them for herself. LOL! Glad to help. I have always liked Brahman Bags and I particularly have had my eye on the Katie Crossbody. It is large for a crossbody and I feel that crossbodies are safer than shoulder bags. I have a choice of three gorgeous colors. I can only buy one because Brahmans are expensive and they hardly ever go on sale. The quality is good, and they last a long time. My question is which of these bags do you think I could wear with the most outfits and will last me from season to season. I hate changing bags for season changes and I don't like to get a bag for every single outfit. I am looking for some versatility. I like the black, but I don't think I would want to carry this in summer, or maybe I would. The other two colors are good too. What do you think?

am i tripping? there are days im supposed to cry but i didn't. like, if most people went through something that i did, most of them will likely to cry, but i dont. The UK tomato season is very short, and although tomatos are available in stores, the decent ones run expensive when you need to buy enough to make a sauce. So, for tomato based recipes, many of us fall back on tinned tomatos. (Of course, being British, we're too lazy to peel, deseed, and chop)

So when it comes to cooking do you use tinned or fresh for cooking?

It took me approximately five months. He broke up with me on August 1st 2024 and I can honestly say I got over him completely on New Year's Day. When he told me he proposed to someone else, I felt nothing. No hurt, no malice. Nothing.
