Sometimes in a relationship you do some silly stuff with your partner. Like teasing each other, wrestle a little bit, and sometimes it turns out in a tickle battle, where you trying to tickle each other until someone give up.

Now I'm curious if it's the girls that win most of the times, or are the guys most of the time at the winning end?

Most of the times I'm at the losing end because I'm pretty ticklish😅. But sometimes I'll get him back, so I have my revange, haha😈.

Yes it's another round of What the Hell is Poppy making tonight. We've got a bottle of juice, a couple of eggs, a jar of honey, a pot of yogurt and a pot of double cream.

I actually felt sad for this infidelity story I've once read at Reddit. It was written 2 years ago. The woman was 39 (she must be 41 by now) and her now husband cheated on her with a co-worker. He spent some of his wife's money on the affair and took her homemade meals and desserts to secretly feed the other woman. He cheated as a 40 year-old married man with 3 kids. He ended up having a mid-life crisis and supposedly wanted to see what it was like having sex with another woman, even briefly fell in love with the other woman. She forgives and agrees to marriage counseling. She felt she owed him one and clearly wants to save the marriage.

Flashback to 2002 when they were just boyfriend and girlfriend:

When the woman was much younger (then 19 years old), she cheated on her then boyfriend (now husband) with his best friend Tony. He caught her in a compromised position, both asleep in the couch with the TV running on. Supposedly the guy was in boxers and she was with jeans on but only with bra on top. Apparently they had already finished doing the deed by then and there was alcohol. It was an affair going on for 3 months. She's been repentant for all those years, never cheated again and was faithful as a fiancee and wife. She got forgiven and (yes he still proposed 5 years after the cheating incident, claiming he forgave her completely and wouldn't bring it anymore) they still got married.

On the woman's previous post, she actually is full of guilt all over again and feels she deserved it. Did she deserved to get cheated on 20 years later? She cheated in 2002 as a 19 year-old girlfriend with no kids. He cheated as a 40 year-old married man with 3 children?

If you’re dating someone that you think is very attractive and then see a photo of them and they look completely different and you realize they have had plastic surgery, would you now become unattached to them? Like that’s not what they really look like or do you not care and still want to be with them because this is how they look now?

Really tho this is the style I absolutely love without aiming for “dress up”

i find it so comfortable and the flowing feels a bit like flying for me. Which is extra cool in my case bc I do have numbness in my legs so creating flow even visually, adds to better function.

A friend of mine who is a seamstress, is helping me with a pattern that resembles this dress so of course when we are done I will want to wear it!

I do wish people dressed like this casually or at least didn’t care who wears what bc I’m sure in most situations I will appear to be out of my mind just bc of the clothing which is, unfortunate.

Still I’m looking for creative ideas other than costume party, on stage, or wedding 🙃

Alright. I was not going to ask about this bc I really do not think there was any bad intention, on the other hand it’s bothering me so here I go.

I regularly have physical therapy for chronic dizziness. Therapists change every few months. This last one I clicked with immediately. He gives me exercises and answers questions. There is no physical contact.

After my sessions ended, seeing as we get on pretty well & with him being new in the area I invited him out platonically— just me showing him around.

I made it clear I am not interested in dating. He said he travels so he’s not about dating atm, we understand each other. No problems.

Fourth time we met up mind you this was over three months period of time- we weren’t meeting up constantly. It was very late we were listening to street music playing their last song, he moves in (slowly enough for me to stop him - I give him props for that) I stopped him. I asked him ‘you said you wanted to be friends. We both agreed?’ He said he did. He does. He was just feeling very friendly. 👀 👀

I knew he was joking so I laughed but then my mind went back to the issue which was:

1. I do not want to get involved.

2 I thought he didn’t want to get involved.

3 he basically lied to me.

And here’s the thing. He answered me honestly but I now doubt I can trust him.

he said he kind of assumed I was just saying I didn’t want more than friends bc everyone says that (((do they?)) and we get on well so he thought he’d just wait and see.

it doesn’t bother me he turned out to be a bit interested or that he tried to kiss me or even him lying bc he didn’t have an obligation to tell he if he was interested in anything - as long as he accepted I wasn’t.

It is the fact he assumed I was lying and I’m quite tired of people thinking I am playing a game when I’m direct. Even nice people.

He didn’t trust me & I don't know if I can trust him. BUT he did come clean. He could have played it off as a misunderstanding.

What would you do?

Unless a recipe specifies a particular spice I tend to stick to the white peoples spices such as, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg when cooking sweet stuff. More often or not I'll just use a mixed spice rather than blend my own.

Similarly when cooking something savoury I might just reach for a genetic blend like garam masala or Chinese 5 spice. At the risk of upsetting purists I have been known to substitute garam masala for Ras el hanout.

Okay first of all, I’m not being racist.

Okay so my best friend who loves theatre and plays. She told me there’s an audition for Anne Frank and she’s thinking about playing Anne Frank and asked he if I should go for it and as her best friend it’s my duty not to be honest with her.
Well as her best friend, i won’t sugarcoat it. I told her, “Well I won’t sugarcoat it. Do you really think you’re going to be the title role? I mean we learned about her. Plus Anne Frank is a white girl, petite and small structured. You’re…. no offense tall. You’re tall, black and large built so do you really think they’re going to cast you as Anne Frank? Maybe you should audition for another role in the play.” She gave me an angry glare. She told me off saying I’m just hating and it doesn’t matter what color the actor or actress is. She also told me if I was her real best friend I would support her. I do support her, but she asked me for an honest answer and best friends don’t lie to each other. I mean Anne Frank is a history! So it’s a historical play they’re doing.
