Apples are the most versatile, cooking and dessert ones, then add in cider (currently drinking some). I was visiting some friends over in Hereford last year, loads of Apple orchards of different types of apples and a lot used for local ciders. I also love pears and had pear cider (Perry). I am not keen on oranges tbh.
Apples get my vote for the question, followed by pears, I just prefer the dishes I can use apples for and prefer cider over Perry.

Pears, but only when they are green. When yellow, they are fully ripe, too sweet and too soft.

i love pears but it is very difficult to find perfect pears or even good ones sometimes, even at the height of the season, which is right now

i met a guy in the orange business one time and he said all the best produce goes to Japan first, so we never get a shot at it

It feels good when drinking apple juice and better apple shake! If refrigerated if eaten tastes so good! An apple a day keeps the doctor away! I only like to eat without skin!

My fave lollipop flavor is green apple!
