1. We’re not talking about someone who is uninterested bc a lot of people just don’t have the guts to directly say NO. It sucks, but Fair enough.

2. There are indeed a lot of people who get off on mutually playing mind games with each other so we’re not discussing them either.

We’re discussing scenario # 3. Two people LIKE each other but one is being direct and the other refuses. Won’t or can’t, I don't know.

I think with most people without being a genius or even particularly clever, you can very easily infer that when a person is being open & honest & direct, they don’t want to play games & doing so will most likely turn them off towards the other person…

SO I have difficulty understanding in this instance, what the ‘other person’ finds advantageous about being secretive, and why they may insist on it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I see it _alot_ in other pol as well I’ve experienced it first hand. I’ve never found any explanations after the fact - when they were offered- to really make sense, and they seemed more of an attempt at damage control than “ coming clean”

so I’m wondering if there’s some kind of unconscious work at play..

Assuming they are not jerks, Perhaps these people are simply not good at acting deliberately so even little things seem burdensome and they are reluctant to respond even if doing so could be beneficial, I don't know?

It's known that women are better at multitasking but for me I struggle with it bc I get overwhelmed of all the things I want to do , and when it comes to writing them down in lists i get confused and don't know what I have to do precisely and it becomes unclear

i guess this is more of planning issues than multitasking

Most of the people on my social media are acquaintances or family, plus some randos (on IG). On FB, it’s a lot of people I went to hs & middle school with. I tend to get more likes on IG but this weekend was a shocker. I went to this event where I met a bunch of celebs & most of the people that liked my posts were strangers (I’m usually private but go public when I meet celebs to tag them in my posts with the slight chance they’ll acknowledge it). When I first met this famous group last yr a lot of followers that I actually knew liked my post but I mean this weekend I met a bunch of famous people & they saw my stories but no one acknowledged my posts except the people that saw it bc I tagged the celeb/used a few hashtags. You’re wondering how this relates to anxiety but it does make me anxious & I don’t want to come across as desperate for attention. I really don’t have a lot of followers compared to most of the people on my friends list, I’ve always felt kind of invisible in that sense. Never get the “dms” from guys like other women have, I’m told I’m attractive & this post sounds superficial but does anyone relate?

I broke things off with him cause it was never gonna become anything besides a situationship and I waited a year on him but when I gave up and started sleeping with someone else he said I was for the streets and if I was looking for potential in someone else. I started talking to him after I broke up with my abusive ex that wouldn't stop stalking me. He asked me out but he didn't want a relationship like I thought after we talked for 3 months, he was working on myself. I liked him a lot so I thought I could wait until he changed his mind but I waited a year and he never did. I started seeing someone else after he got too busy to hang out anymore after his new job. I told him I started seeing someone else after we didn't talk for 2 months , well I called and texted him hut he was either busy or tired to talk so I stopped he texted me after and then got mad when I started seeing someone else and said I was for the streets. I broke things off a week later and that was his response.

I find the look of a shirtless man ( fit shapely) really attractive and sexy. It's a really erotic sight at least for me.

I heard a woman recently say we're not supposed to be decisive, and I thought that was kinda funny. It's pretty clear that the vast majority of heterosexual women want decisive men, but how do men feel about decisive women?

He's had a very traumatic past and he has expensive clothes.

I wanted to replace his expensive clothes with ones we bought together.

He thinks I'm being unreasonable for wanting him to get rid of clothes that are tied to trauma.. and I thought it would be a healing process for us to get new clothes together to replace them.

Am I unreasonable for wanting to get him new expensive clothes to replace the old ones and close the door on the trauma and make new memories?

I've recently had a little bonus at my work and I've wanted to spoil myself really badly and buy one investment piece for my wardrobe.

They are very expensive, luxury but these will last me a long time and will always be in fashion.

I'm going to be out in the country more often now to because of my partners new job and I would like be able to fit in a little bit more with wearing nicer more expensive clothes. Obviously I'm not gonna change myself and I'll still be shopping at primark but I want to be able to wear nice things for special work occasions.

If so, why?

i gained so much weight these last two years, went up over 10kgs 😭😭 now i'm 73.5kgs (161lbs) for 1m73 (barely 5'8), which puts me at a bmi of 24.5.. 0.5 points more and i'm in the overweight category... (by the way a healthy bmi is 18.5 to 24.9..)

the question though is how much should i lose, like to be at my prettiest to most people? like what should be my gw out of these?
