Show up at a field with my rc plane the guys hate it so I just go with my hubby and pretend to fly bad with him.

Mean while at home I'm beating him in video games and race circles around him with our tiny cars.

They are always so toxic especialy when I knowing things. They have to be prideful and right forget me trying to learn anything from them.

I love magic. I know four or five women in the club that I belong to that are either hobbyists or aspiring pros. I would say most of us have been very kind to them. Now we might be less "old man bawdy humor" around them, but otherwise, I haven't seen much of a difference in how they're treated. Now some other idiot outside of my circles might have said idiotic things to them in the past, but I'm not aware of it. I don't see it. Not saying it doesn't happen, but I just don't see it.

Another three or four who are in similar interests: Aerialists, Fire-eaters, Jugglers, and a few Burlesque performers.

I knew another woman (wife of a magician), and she liked it. She was more an assistant than the magician, but she sort of liked seeing it (they never performed outside of paid work, as they saw it as "work."

I've met a select few women who were World of Warcraft players. Again, I think most guys are cool with it, as long as she's genuinely interested, and if she's good, hey, that's awesome... and if she is new to it, that she's open to learning, and preferably she's not a jerk to too many people (just as with anyone else).

I actually prefer it when she joins in. Because it's quality time and if she likes what I like, there is a lot of quality time. We mostly play as a team together so if she's good at the game, it's good news because not only is she a match IRL, but online as well. We can talk about literally anything and demolish an enemy team at the same time.

Not sure what sort of "men" you hang out with - likely poorly educated, working class, etc. - but I rarely get hassle from men for "playing with their toys"*** and I happen to do hunting and fishing on a seasonal basis. Fishing & hunting are a lot more grown-ass-man-sports than flying RC planes (originally something meant for children).

**I played baseball hockey and basketball (mixed gender not just girls) in college, owned RC cars, boats & planes, and enjoy things like video games, etc.

Guys talk shit. Especially when playing competitive games. The most annoying thing when gaming with girls is I have seen many start the arguments by either having a chip on their shoulder or overreacting to something as small as a guy excitingly saying " it's a woman!" Just cause they get tried of hearing it. They immediately start an argument when the guy wasn't saying this as an insult.

A lot of the time, women create this "toxic" environment and then cry when men respond accordingly.
