How to help my cousin?

Hi, my question is how do I help my cousin?

My cousin and I are quite close as friends so he will share a lot of his problems with me, recently he has been complaining about his girlfriend and the list is quite long, they have been dating 9 months,

A little bit of information about the girl, she has no personality whatsoever sometimes taking to her feels like talking to a toddler. We have a running joke that she is like a npc. She has no interests and no hobbies and also no friends. They started dating because they work together. She lives with him and does pay any rent, won't buy food, won't clean up her mess,. doesn't take care of her cat and you cannot have a conversation about her not doing all this because shell just cry and doesn't understand what you are saying to her. I feel terrible for her as she has to deal with herself and I feel bad for him as she is taking way to much of his mental health and energy all the time.

She isn't good for him and his family and friends have told him so many times that the relationship needs to end but he can't end it as she will not be alive after the next few weeks ago if you can understand what I'm saying. I'm trying to be there for him, listen and talk but I'm not sure what I should say to him he needs actually advice from people who have had similar situations. fortunately for me I have had good relationships.
