So I met one of the patients who would be a night shift. Nice family but his night shift is basically a day routine. You're up all night feeding him every 30 minutes, doing his exercise routine, some respiratory treatments, multiple medications, boiling and baking his catheters. No offense but if I'm going to do all this I might as well work day shift. I don't mind this type of work during the day but at night? Wtf, isn't the point of nights is for quiet slow pace?

Night shift continued: AM I being unreasonable or is it a bit much?
I dont mind the work. The issue is that the day shift load is at night. That makes no sense. The point of me skipping day is to avoid the hustle and bustle.

I can see your dilemma with it, but I thought you wanted to escape the day shift to get away from potential drama and not so much... Work..

Basically night should be night. I don't want no bullshit 🤣
I know, I was saying, I thought you got away from so that you can do your work and dip, and not deal with people's drama so much.. LOL
@Joshydavid25 my purpose of night's is to work smart not hard. With him I'll be up and down all night. i want a patient that sleeps all night lol
Well, maybe the day shift is where it's at for you then.. LOL..
I think you're right. But it might be in common in your job.
I wouldn't know how common or uncommon this was to state if its reasonable or not
