'Sacred ground': Joe Biden marks 58th anniversary of 'Bloody Sunday' in Selma

The black-and-white images that flickered across television sets from that Bloody Sunday in Selma horrified the nation.

Alabama state troopers savagely clubbing peaceful marchers as they tried to cross the Edmund Pettus Bridge. The screams of terror. The thick clouds of tear gas. The deputies on horseback, chasing frightened men, women and children back across the steel-arched structure. Beating them again and again with clubs, whips and rubber tubing wrapped in barbed wire.

"On this bridge, blood was given to help redeem the soul of America," President Joe Biden said Sunday during remarks commemorating the voting-rights demonstration.

Biden visited Selma on Sunday to mark the 58th anniversary of the march, now regarded as one of the defining moments in the nation’s civil rights movement. He delivered remarks at the Edmund Pettus Bridge and participated in the re-enactment of the bridge crossing.

Be honest, would you scoop that low to lie and steal people's money for a living? I believe there is always ways of making money even if you're in a poor country. There are poor people that don't scam either. Not everyone that's poor scams.

This is one of the many scammers (he's in Nigeria) and even after getting caught he was still trying to BS me with another story, lol. This is the beginning of a romance scam. They don't even know you in person and are already lovebombing you. By now I even hate the ''I love you'' words. I don't care about words too much. My new stance is going by what I see with my own eyes, not what I hear. But honestly, would you scam people for a living if you were that desperate for money? Be honest.

I didn't feel like playing along with that scammer. Instead I cut to the chase and called him what he is. I'm playing along with another romance scammer. I'll reply however I want to, either blocking them, cursing them out or playing dumb.

Feminism
I say warped modern feminism as feminism was NEVER about dressing provatively or sleeping around. In fact original feminism was AGAINST women being seen as sexual objects and today's Western feminists STRIVE to make themselves just sexual objects.

Dressing & acting cheaply is a Hippi "free love" era corruption of original feminism. Nothing more, nothing less. Go to other countries where more traditional feminism exists & you would'll find that dressing & acting cheaply is behavior of prostitutes not average women.

Yes countries like the UK are as bad but a) UK has been increasingly Americanized & b) even when my dad was a kid 50+ years ago sluttish behavior even at 14 was typical in UK.

North America's "Throw Away" Culture
North American Society is a "throw away" culture. Old car, throw it away. Phone functions but cracked screen, throw it away. So many in USA run for newest phone or car but there's often minimal difference between this and year-old phone or car they are "throwing away".

Even in Europe you won't necessarily find such wastefulness as you'd find in North America.

But this "throw away" culture is reflected in relationships. Less & less people in North America put effort into REAL (so non-flings, hookups, etc). relationships as they are raised when something becomes difficult or requires work "throw it away" instead of working on it.
