But I died in my sleep. The feeling of not having any shape is suffocating. I mean you are just there in the infinite darkness.

This happened when I had a very much real dream. The fall from a really tall building had an impact so powerful in my dream that it affected my whole body in real world.

I was awake the entite night that day. It was hurting really bad.

I was born dead. I had to have a transfusion. I have already seen the great beyond.

I was born with RH positive blood and my mother had RH negative. When our blood mixed her blood attacked my red blood cells and I was left without oxygen. I needed a complete blood transfusion.

@Iron_Man It was a very confusing time in my young life. I just remember seeing a bright light and then it was gone. The next thing I knew some doctor was slapping me on the ass.

It was like everything went black and I felt cold. Then all of a sudden I woke up to my girlfriend panicking. Telling me my heart stopped beating for a almost a minute and it scared the hell out of her.

Came close the one time. Fell on a dock spike while I was at a cottage. If I hadn't put my hands down and caught the slippery log the spike was sticking out of in time, it would have went right through me.

Instead it went between my ribs and apparently just touched my heart.

I have a scar between my ribs which reminds me, we have some near misses in life.

there was one time in 2019 i was home and everything was fine then the next thing i remember is waking up in the ER having medics asking me my name, do you know where you are? and what year is it? I was completely baffled

alcohol poisoning and before waking up in the ER all I remember was talking to my late father which seemed so real

I haven't but we have brough many people back from being "dead".
CPR, drug overdoses, we have saved 1 girl at least 18 times, and many times she has not had a pulse.
Hopefully I will not find out, and we do not ask our patients about their experience while they were gone.

Yes. My second seizure after my surgery required me to be paddled with the defibrillator and a tube placed down my throat. I woke up in Brigham and Women's a second time.

Yeah I was playing for the Buffalo Bill's and I was struck in the chest hard enough to stop my heart. I got to my feet but quickly collapsed. They were able to get my hear restarted. And I'm doing OK now.
