If the vehicle plates are known (99% of cop cars have dashcam) is there really any reason to chase them immediately?

Obviously if their crime is a violent felony that is a factor but almost ALL chases are the result of a initial traffic stop or at worst robbery (yes that could be violent felony but the vast majority of robberies only threaten violence, not inflict actual violence).

From the FBI:

High escape rate: Studies suggest that between 30% and 50% of police pursuits end with no capture.

High crash rate: An FBI analysis 35%-40% of all pursuits ended in a crash.

Ineffective deterrence: A study found that 75% of fleeing drivers said they would slow down after police disengaged.

High financial costs

Taxpayer expense: The costs of high-speed chases, including litigation and liability payouts for crashes.

I was watching snippets or skippings of the Bieber vlogs on YouTube lately "as he's a streamer* and then I watched a bit of Kai Trump (I didn't know that relative existed or had a vlog via a YouTube channel, until tonight (yes that's a nod to the nostalgia of Recess Schools Out if you remember Principal Prickly says as much "until today" when he looks at this old peace sign pendant ✌🏻🕊️ towards the films conclusion). Classic Disney.

Anyways - what do you make of vloggers? Are you a vlogger? Doesn't it kind of become... too many eyeballs?

Hell i think it becomes too many eyeballs. While I'm running my mouth here, merrily and humbly as always, as an amateur observational comedian "how's about being a nobody - of course it's ruined now since that's been taken for two theatrical movies - yet I think there's a lot to be said for the joy of being a "actual nobody" - few socials, few presence online, and not vlogging or filming even point of view, every waking moment of our lives"

Personally, unlike those films about "a Nobody" I for one just like being a standard stock character in real life, a nobody. I'm just another face in the crowd, or keeping to my own self. Yes, minus the irony of this GAG. Which I'll probably delete or leave anyways lol y'all know me, GAG, becomes tedious and publicity I'm not one for. Blah 😛🥳😶

Even if next year sucks, we've got the biggest things entertainment wise coming out next year which is exciting!

Daredevil Born Again Season 2, Punisher special, X-Men '97 season 2, One Piece Live Action season 2, Ben 10 comic, Lanterns, Supergirl, The Boys final season, Mario Galaxy movie, most likely Pokémon Gen 10 for the 30th anniversary, Spider-Man Brand New Day, GTA 6, Mandalorian and Grogo movie, new Lego Batman game, Clayface, Tomadachi life living the dream, vision quest, your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man season 2 and Avengers Doomsday..

i think all of this next year makes it worth it!
