
Croatian music teacher Frane Selak cheated death an astonishing seven times. He survived a train crash, a plane crash, a bus crash, two car explosions, and a car plunging off a cliff. After this he won a million on the lottery, solidifying his reputation as the world's luckiest, unlucky man.
In 1962 his train derailed into a frozen river killing 17 people. He survived with only a broken hand, and a few scratches, and bruises.
A year later while in an aircraft the door suddenly came off, and the teacher flew out of the plane. Everyone lost their lives in the plane crash except Frane Salak who landed on a haystack, and awoke in hospital a few days later with minor injuries.
In 1966 he was travelling on a bus that crashed and fell into a river.
In 1970 he was driving his car when it caught fire, and he just managed to get out before it exploded.
Three years later another of his cars caught fire, and he survived again.
In 1995 in Zagreb he was hit by a bus and survived with minor injuries.
The following year he drove into a parapet to avoid a truck coming from the opposite direction. He was thrown out of his car and left hanging from a tree, only to see his car explode 100 meters below.
In 2003 Frane Salak won 1 million dollars in the Croatian lottery.
Frane Salak was married 5 times, but he lost his life in 2016 he was 87 years, and he finally succumbed to complications of a heart attack in 1998, and died in a Los Angeles hospital.
