Do you find yourself lucky?

I'm not sure if it's lucky or blessed some how.

I put myself in a lot of . Predicaments because I help a lot of people. I'm always taking from my self to help others because I know I will always find a way. To recover. And some how. And sometimes it might go down to the very last min or second. But I do it.
It's know way to be living life. But I've done it for so long I don't know if any other way.. we wait a min I do know of slot of other ways, I just haven't made those work yet.
But I'm working on them..

But how ever and for what ever the reason is I thank it. I thank everyone on this planet who has been apart of my journey to grow help and. Succeed. It's God the universe the energy the person within me or anybody else I thank you because I could do it without them so if I'm lucky I'm just lucky to have all of them in my life whoever it is whatever energy it is I thank them

Let's make you 15 years old. Your parents have decided to relocate from the comforts and Stability of a modern first world country to a third world country, that's fallen apart and where people are fleeing from and you don't speak their language. You're forcibly relocated with them. As if that's not enough your parents are toxic, abusive, violent and don't give you any rest. You begin to starve, get struck with diseases, get medical conditions and you're freezing in the winter and your blood is boiling in the summer. There is no going back until you make your own way back while hiding your escape plan and wish for escaping from anybody, that can tell your parents about it and you're thousands of kilometers away from your former home.

What type of misfortune would you classify that? That's my life story.

Usually, it seems like so much BAD luck. Car breaks down. Have an accident. Computer and tablets are glitching up more now, for whatever reason. Tears in some of my favorite clothes. Stuff isn't working right. Watch is broken down, and it's been impossible to open for a cleaning and fix. But I'm trying to be positive and remember there are a few "good luck" wins here and there, too.

Boring story time: One example of good luck: I had a moment of... what I would call "comical brilliance." It's a joke with a fake spider ((Sounds idiotic, but it's an inside joke with a friend I don't see much). I'll be seeing her this weekend, so I'd better see if I can make this happen somehow. I look online, I see almost nothing will work... and what I CAN get, it's going to be a few weeks to deliver (and that opportunity gone)... and I figure no stores are going to have any fake spiders in January. Ok, I'm mildly disappointed, but these things happen. It's just highly unlikely to work in my favor, realistically.

Suddenly, I remember that a party store near me sometimes has Halloween costumes left, even a few months after October 31st. I figure it couldn't hurt to just check (as I was also in that area for some other things I needed). I drive to the store... turns out, it's going out of business (aww, I liked that place)... but most things have a pretty good clearance sale. Ok, well, if I can't find any spiders, I'll see what else is there that I might save 75% on (I love Halloween. I used to host haunted tours and organize parties)

I go in... and after not seeing anything, as I'm about to leave... I suddenly notice plastic bugs sticking out behind a bunch of other costume stuff. I check, and... yes.. the spiders I was looking for, and with a decent discount. A nice little win.

I also had an event changed to a sooner date at the last minute, making a little bit of a scramble, but ok. I find out yesterday morning - it's for this weekend.

I end up having to try to order some things with express mail, UPS, etc... All tracking information says next Tuesday or Wednesday delivery (but tracking also says that everything has already arrived in town (just not delivered yet)), so I'm hoping for early deliveries, which will take some stress off my shoulders... but I am smart enough to plan backups, it's just more work for me.

Well, if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. Like I used to tell my preschool students (old job), or my younger nieces/nephews: "You get what you get, and you don't throw a fit!" ;)

Yes. Raised in a stable family, I have good health, a wife, 2 kids, a house that is paid off, plenty of money invested, needs such as food taken care of... I am totally blessed.
