Are we willing to sacrifice happiness for meaning? Is legacy more important to us than having what we want? Do we believe greater happiness is derived from a meaningful life vs. one in which we have whatever makes us feel immediately happy? What are the differences and similarities?

So I don't even talk about the trump vs biden questions I can just ignore, but I get invited to 2-3 U. S. Election questions each day. I don't mind, but let's flip the situation. We have election until Sunday so what would you vote for if you could?
A lot of countries have their own parties but there are coalitions of similar parties in the parliament who work similarly but not in the same way a party would work.
Voting for each party here is impossible, so I trim it down to the coalitions. Also we actually have options. Our centrists and liberals basically want a free market, aka Adam smith. They are not your kind of liberals. 😅

The following is my personal opinion. If you want to vote for what you always voted :
Christ-democrats and liberals are probably what your "non trump-specific" republicans would agree with most.
European socialist and again liberals are probably what your democrats would agree most with.
Bernie Sanders fans would probably agree with the greens and or left the most although the left are probably even more left than Bernie.

For those that voted trump because they specifically liked trump pre jan 6th, the right-wing populists are what you would agree with most.

For those that still specifically want trump after his conviction the AfD is probably your closest friend. Especially if you think the system is rigged.

Keep in mind you have to ignore only "voting for trump" because it's the lesser evil, or because you dislike democrats, but don't fully agree with trump. We have choices. There is not just a single option from the left and right.

Other; non group parties: communists, peace and freedom, self-proclaimed "independents" also germany has a literal SATIRE party present here. (Not a joke, the party Is called "the party")

my younger sis is 29 years old and lives on her own…she hasn’t been working for about 1.5 years now…. almost everyday my mom is going back n forth to my sisters place to help her out and pays for her groceries- my sister always says she’s “sick” yet she refuses to go get medical care or to do the tests that her doctor requested her to.
she needs my mom just ti go there to put food in the oven for her which I find to be ridiculous

my mom always gives in to what my sister wants and is never firm with her or sets boundaries ever…anytime I need her she’s always busy and I always feel like I need to push her into helping me out ….

she also told me that when she sells her old sports car that she will be giving the money TJ my sister and not me…. my sister never even came over to help my mom out or check up on her when she busted her arm last winter on black ice- which was very careless and disgusting- she could’ve easily taken the bus to come see my mom!!!

so does my mom favour my sister over me?

I have been both emotionally and physically cheated on by my boyfriend/exes. The thing is, I seem to be able to forgive (not forget) emotional cheating depending on how much my partner is willing to work on making it right. But if there was sex involved then there’s absolutely no way in hell I’d ever forgiven them… What about you guys?

It's not often that people call me the wrong name to my face, but today, one of the dental assistants called me "Isabella" (which is technically not my government name) and he said it more than once. I was confused because obviously my forms that were in his hand would say my actual name. I didn't bother correcting him because it's just a variation of my name anyway. At least he didn't call me "Elizabeth." 😂
