Yes, but mostly because i’m old enough to be their (responsible) father. When i was 18, i understood that i was legally an adult and accepted that that meant that i had to behave like one in most respects. Obviously i had a lot of maturation remaining in front of me, and some could fairly argue i still do. That said, i’m willing to forgive a lot of dumb things people do because they’re young and inexperienced. I would not, however, forgive criminal behavior or antisocial behavior to which the laws of the land haven’t caught up yet. As an adult, you should be held accountable.
