I hear it and i read it all the time so many talking about how they have a cellphone they don't need a CB radio. They point out how they can contact anyone in the world with their cellphone they can share photos to their relatives and friends even on the other side of the world. They can do transactions play games and even do videos and print from their cellphone. And so why should they have something like a CB radio. So why you ask? It can be summed up in 4 words (The Internet Kill Switch), search that up. CB radios all work well even the cheapest CB radios the $50 dollar ones with a good antenna that is such as a K30 or Tram 300 for mobile antenna or the 5/8 high gain antenna for base roughly $150.

When the power goes out CB radios go right on working and that is because CB's transmit by antennas and their transmissions are received by all other CB antennas with in reach. CB radios are cheap they need no license to operate and once bought it never again cost a dime to use it. They are easy to install too and where all other form of communication will and do fail CB radios go right on working they will not.

Given all the facts above for those who have invested so much confidence in their cellphones who think CB radios are lacking and pointless, does any of the above chance your mind?
