Social platforms are for show only. They are there to put you in the limelight and as such, you want to appear in the best light. For that purpose, a little cheating is necessary, be it by manipulating images, pretending to be younger, adding data that is not correct or simply by blatantly lying about yourself to give an image that is totally distorted.

I don't have social media besides G@G and I don't have access to any social media since you need to have an account to be able to access the information and profiles.

However, I would guesstimate that at least 70-80% of those profiles do have at least one single fact about the owner that is not correct. Be it that they removed a blemish on a picture, be it that they put a wrong status or be it simply because everything about them is fake.

I think most people are honest about the information they share, but they don't share everything. I'd say 80% are totally accurate.
