The lawsuit under the Iowa Consumer Fraud Act seeks "accountability for brazen election interference committed by" the Des Moines Register (DMR) and Selzer through use of a leaked and manipulated Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll conducted by Selzer and S&C and published by DMR and Gannett, which also owns other publications, including USA Today.

The Harris Poll was no ‘miss’ but rather an attempt to influence the outcome of the 2024 Presidential Election," the lawsuit states, adding that "defendants and their cohorts in the Democrat Party hoped that the Harris Poll would create a false narrative of inevitability for Harris in the final week of the 2024 Presidential Election." Trump is demanding statutory damages three times the actual damages suffered; an order enjoining defendants’ "ongoing deceptive and misleading acts and practices relating to the Harris Poll and compelling defendants to disclose all poll information; attorneys’ fees and costs associated with the case; and any other relief.

Even the most ignorant corrupt MAGA should be opposed to this! It's INTENDED to send a message to media that legitimate journalism will be targeted with frivolous lawsuits to drain them of time and money. If, like ABC, you settle frivolous lawsuits that just emboldens this man baby bully and his sycophantcy to litigate EVERYTHING he finds unpleasant no matter how true! When will it stop? Think about it. Federal State and local politicians all suing media and polling companies!

Do you, MAGA, REALLY want journalists and pollsters sued, not for defamation, but for election interference? Is this what you wanted when the orange turd says "We need to straighten out the press."?

This action, even if it's not successful and laughed out of court is CHILLING for all involved.

I just see a whole lot about how we need more housing, there isn't any housing available. Yet I look on the market and I'm still finding places for under 100,000 without plumbing or roof problems that just need updating, maybe some siding and lack central AC.

I get that ideal houses, and newer houses are ludicrously priced right now, but you could buy like 8 places in the hood for one "nice" place in the burbs right now.

I could be biased though, what are your thoughts?
