As a Canadian I don’t like what Trump is doing, but America elected him in, is he tariffs Us, we tariff back and seek other countries that we sell and buy from, it has already sparked a Buy Canadian made here for consumers. It truly shows how dependent we have become of out sourcing our production to other countries. Unfortunately no one will benefit from this but we will endure.

Might be hard to find Canadian stuff in US if this tariff stuff keeps up. I live 17 minutes from border and we used to go over weekly as Michigan had so much better selection than over here, but the exchange rate on our dollar makes it non feasible to do so now plus $16 to cross bridge and back sucks. Haven’t been to US for a year now.

Prior to this madness we had a trade agreement that allowed goods to enter tariff free and others had tariffs. This was an agreement pushed by Trump in his first term
