With the religion being as widespread and huge as it is and becoming more common we are bound to see some more reactions to it before it becomes normal.
Islam, for better or worse, is one of the religions that adapted the least to the times. That isn't an issue if people think while studying it. However we'd have to hang a lot of people if we went by the default version of the bible.

Democrats seem to hate everyone including Muslims. Trump on the other hand is working on all sorts of peace deals in the Middle East, withdrawing troops, and being critical of China for their treatment of Uyghur Muslims. So, sure it’s on the rise with Democrats and if Biden gets back in he will likely start new wars that will negatively impact Muslims. If Trump gets back in, then relations will likely improve at least in the USA. In Europe there are major issues though.
Maybe a whole group is being blamed for the actions of a minority, and I don't think islam by itself is the problem, but particular individuals who profess islam. When you move to a different country, you must respect the culture from the place you're living in and respect its people and customs. Refusing to do so justifies being deported, if their own customs are so great then they should just go back to the place they came from.
I believe so. Many people I talk to admit they're Islamphobic , but they are rarely open and honest about how they feel. They mostly keep it to themselves and only let a few trusted people know their true thoughts.
A lot of people I speak to, say they know all Muslim's aren't terrorists, but they don't trust any Muslim because you don't know if they are extremists or not.

Islam is the problem. There's no such thing as Islamophobia. People don't like Islam because it stands for violence and sexism.
Maybe if things like innocent teacher beheadings in France didn't happen in the name of Islam, then people would be so fucking bitter and terrified.
Repose en paix Samuel Paty Tu es dans un meilleur endroitIt certainly is on the rise.
Even if you object to teachings in Islam or things some Muslims do, that does not warrant in any way random hate crimes (through e. g. violence) against Muslims based on physical traits.I think people need to be more open and accepting of others. We're not all the same nor believe the same things but that doesn't make any one or their beliefs bad.
I actually think it's down compared to ten years ago. But yes, all religions need change. They tend to be bad for the rest of the world.
Well it's both. The doctrines of Islam are the reason for the rise of Islamophobia.
Islam needs a lot of changes, Islamophobia is on the rise because nobody likes Muslims and everybody is scared of them.
You can make the argument all religions need change, or to just be done away with entirely.
BOTH! Islamaphobia is on the rise, because Islam refuses to change.
