How big is God?

Question

First of all let's ASSUME he exists and he is in human form. Let us also ASSUME he is the sole creator of all things. The emphasis on "assume" is so this doesn't get flooded with "he's not real" answers, this is purely hypothetical.

Art and popular culture usually depicts God as a giant. To one extent that makes sense when dealing with creation on a large scale. But much of creation happens on a micro scale, even at a sub atomic level. That's going to be kinda fiddly if you have fingers the size of tree trunks. So perhaps he's actually tiny and strong like an ant.

So in your opinion just how big would God need to be to do his job?

The Furthest object ever observed is thought to be about 13.2 bill Light years away, and the Universe is thought to be about 13.7 bill years old. (Meaning the light from anything further than 13.7 billion light years away would not have reached us yet)
Nothing remotely large enough to be god has been observed (yet)
But from gods perspective 14,193,197,279 light years would seem like about a mile.
So, he could literally be like a 5 minute jog away. (At minimum, assuming god runs like Usain Bolt)
I'm not sure I could sit back and wait a mile away from someone I loved for many thousands of years, or even multiple decades if it was in my power to change that. But at the same time, if God is 100,000,000 trillion miles tall, he would probably have a mass many many times that of a black hole, so maybe he keep his distance to avoid the astronomical force of his gravity causing us to spontaneously erupt into nuclear fusion many orders of magnitude more energetic that every star we can see combined.

I believe that at any giving thought could be as big as or as small as or clear as one would dare to think at any given time,, there is know right or wrong answer, I have never read the bible so this is just a guess, we are told he is our only God and only to believe in him , he, gave us the word choice as a gift , and as a freewill of who we choose to be ,, in other words as you said it he gave us the option to believe or not believe and in that option that would mean he is either God or not and with that choice comes to many things many things equal pretty big many things equal pretty small. So with either or I think would equal Infinity to 0. So I guess depending on how you believe at the end of one given day we will all find out. So for me I would say he's only as big as we are within he's always big as your faith he's only as big or small as your choice and I thank you for this question I believe it's a very important question because like I said at the end of one giving day we will all find out real answer. Hypothetically, "he's" a god, so he can change size and shape at will. Being a god, he might get lonely and horny. He could assume human shape and become irresistible to the most beautiful human women in the world, or to tiny forest fairies, or groups of naiads.
Who knows, he may even have homosexual or bestiality urges. Only a god would know what it's like to have sex with am eagle, cetacean or insect. He could even turn himself into a female.

On the other hand, maybe God is everywhere and in everything, in which case, he experiences everything that every creature experiences without ever having to change his own form. Maybe he sits back in his bearded giganticnous in Heaven and experiences all kinds of kinks trillions of times a day.

If God created nature and nature is all about sex and reproduction, it was by design. He may have fantasized about sex a lot before going about creating the universe. Maybe the infinite number of nebulas and exploding stars are the result of God busting his nut.

Your question ASSUMES God exists within the confines of time and space, which He created.

If He created time and space then it stands to reason that God is as big as He needs to be. Of course, He created everything by *speaking* it into existence. His perfect Faith allowed Him to simply command the universe into existence so His "physical" size isn't important.

Then there's Jesus. For around 30 years roughly 2000 years ago, God dressed Himself in our form so He could undo the mammoth fuckup we'd made of things. So for those 30 years He was probably around 5' 8" given average height at that time.

And then there's the Holy Spirit. The "Comforter" is how Jesus describes Him, but that's not the way the average lunatic fringe, Trump worshipping, "evangelical" fuckwit presents Him. Rather picture a transcendental Shylock demanding his pound of flesh to see their deity.

Basically, God is as big as the moment requires Him to be. Big enough to create the universe, small enough to polish a single grain of sand.

Just as the ancient people of old tried to cubbyhole their concept of God, the comments on here show me you continue to attempt to rationalize scientific facts with mythological belief. God, as we like to assume, is all-powerful because you who wish to believe in "Him", want "Him" to be all-powerful. He is a peaceful God because you believe a man named Jesus, who was given the moniker of "Christ", Savior or Teacher, was historically a peaceful man, whereas, if you read the Old Testaments, the Jewish bible, you will see he really was a prick. Sending locusts, allowing newborns to be murdered, turning a woman to salt for disobeying him. No wonder there are men who believe they are to dominate over women.
So who the fuck IS God? How big is He? Is He a He, or a She, or just an It? How big is your mind? How far do you have to go to encapsulate the entirety of God? If He/She/It is so good at making things, why isn't God capable of making mankind less aggressive toward each other? Wouldn't an all-powerful God want his or her or its kingdom a peaceful one? How do you justify an atom or a molecule, and at the same time, justify other planets that surround us? For that matter, how do you justify OUR star, the sun, as exclusive to the human race, when there are billions of other stars, suns, out there in space?
Quit trying to figure out who or what God is. He was created in your mind from an early age, and when you die, the Endorphines in your brain will take you to a heaven you have created.

That's part of the problem. Ask any dimwit and they automatically think Michelangelo's Adam. When in fact he is about creative license - not religious translation. God can only be God if he is outside the scope of his creation. In other words, nothing can be "bigger" than God, else he's not God.

Totally depends on which god your talking about... the Christian Bible teaches that God is omni present and all knowing. so you could say he's technically larger than any physical realm because he exists both inside and outside of it.
So limiting his size to a "3D" phsical form would be a very limited and inaccurate description since he exists outside of time and space as well as inside of it. In fact the Bible describes him as 3 in 1 (father, son and holy spirit).
