I think people want God to exist in the way they want to see things. People want that genie in the lamp that they can ask for whatever they wish. God did not come into this world to grant everyones wish and he did not come to condemn it he came to this world to save it. Everyone has the choice to seek him and know him or to never try to find him. If a person never had a relationship with him how can one expect those who never knew to experience him. Typically You have to know someone who knows him to find what it takes for him to reveal himself.

Agreed. But I'd add that the idea of god is so bizarre and so easily tied to our existential fear of death - that the sensible position is to assume there is no god unless provided with some compelling reason to think otherwise.

Yes.
But only one of those statements is a problem - The fact that no evidence for a god exists means that you could never be justified in asserting it as a true claim.
The fact that no negative-evidence for the non-existence of a god exists is... Just how it works. You can't provide evidence that unicorns don't exist, but I highly doubt many would be dumb enough to consider that justification to say that unicorns might be out there somewhere.

You could make the same argument for unicorns, fairies or any creature you think of.
But even as an atheist I would say God exists. In that he exists as a powerful idea that effects people's lives. Things don't have to be real to be real.

God is not a hypothesis, or a physical entity, kiddo. The concept of "proof" doesn't apply.  Hence your question is wrong and doesn't make semantic sense.

Yep even tho I heard that scientists are questioning all of existence right now after they found some stuff that apparently leads to a conclusion that the big bang theory might have never happened, someshit like that, you are right tho
