I don’t know much about them, besides that they are not liked by Christians… What exactly do they worship? 🤔 What are their gods, and what can they do? 🤔 From what I have seen in shows, they are on some devil shi 🥴

It was interesting learning a bit about this. I can’t say that I see myself leaving Christianity, but that doesn’t mean I should stay oblivious to the other religions around me.

I’m a Heathen (Norse Pagan) and I can help answer your question.
First there’s a bunch of different types of pagans. Pagans are considered people who don’t worship, Christ. Though it kinda seems that it’s anything other the other big religions like Christianity, Hindu, Buddhism, etc.
I’m a Heathen, but there are other names for this such as Odinist, Asatru, and Norse Pagan. These other names are for what pagans focus on. I believe Odinists for an example focus on the god, Odin (I may be wrong). As a Heathen I believe in all the gods. These other names are kind of similar to like how Christians have other names for what they believe such as Catholic, Lutheran, Christian, etc. Well for how I see it anyway.
So as a Heathen who do I believe in? We have many gods, but I won’t list all the Norse Gods. We have: Odin, The All Father Thor, Son of Odin and protector of Midgard (Earth) also the god of Thunder. Njord, God of the sea Skadi, Goddess of hunting and winter Freyja, Goddess of love, fertility, and when people fall in battle she gets the first pick on whom goes to her great hall. Odin gets the other half. Hel, She’s the goddess of the underworld and controls Helheim. For people who don’t die in battle they all go to Hel. It’s cold unlike Hell in Christianity. Hel has a great hall and she’ll take care of the dead. For what I hear is that’s she sweet, but don’t let looks deceive you. I’m sure people who committed crimes will probably have a nasty spot in Helheim picked out for them. Loki, He was a god until he killed Odin’s beautiful son, Baldur. Loki then got his godship taken away and is punished for it. There’s other Norse Gods.
So how do I worship them? I could go to a blot which is a gathering to worship these gods. Back then blots had sacrifices including humans which we don’t do that these days. Some choose to pick out some gods and “work” with them. Some make a shrine outside or in their own house for these gods and leave offerings such as fruit for an example.
Because I’m considered a Heathen does that mean I’m a filthy? Not at all. I take showers every day and I’m a clean freak. The term Filthy/Dirty Heathen mainly came from Christians. Sure to their eyes I’m filthy with sin for not believing their god.
Are the gods I worship real? I believe so and I believe I seen Odin. Even if they’re not. I will still look up to them as figures of inspiration.
I’m sure Christians might harass me so I’ll hit Anonymous on this on.

—Firstly, Pagans worship the creature or creation rather than Creator. —Secondly, we are intelligently designed to worship and self-preserve into some Eternal form. No one dies an Atheist whether they’ve been worshiping self or science, Mother Earth etc… —Thirdly, our Flesh drives us away from worshiping Absolutes in the “free world 🌎 🌍,”therefore, people come up with all kinds of things to be “spiritual” without obligation or adherence to an Absolute: —Neo-paganism have no set doctrinal beliefs such as Christians. Paganism in USA has a 1940s-50s founding date. Moral Relativism has crept into it too. If whatever hodgepodge of things you assemble works for you…you’re one of us. —It’s off the charts with the Wicca…I’ve met a self-proclaimed Christian Wiccan and she is not a Satanist cause Satan does not exist in their 🌎 🌍. We know the god of the earth as Satan but they see it as energy source and connecting with the “divine”…it’s demon, dark, or black “magic” worship. Seems to be full of Mother Earth and environmental-Nazi crowds. —Same with the druids…. —Pantheons of Celtics-little different but Greek earth gods… —Asatru (Celtic hedonist).. probably some Satanist up in that crowd. — I do not know any admitted Satanist so 🤷🏻♂️ on those guys.
Funny thing about satanists... they don't actually worship satan. They believe in free will, creativity, and free thought. The concepts that were thought to be brought to humanity by lucifer/satan when cast out of heaven for protecting humanity from god wanting to erase humanity for being failed creations.
@dragoblack You got the Free Will from Satan twisted. If God did not create both angel and man with freedom to choose then Satan would still be in heaven worshiping God. Satan temptation and the ability of man to Choose Not the commands of God…to Sin would have never been possible. —God did not make man-made computerized AI robotic entities. Choices for man are not rigid If Then controlled Statements. We can choose and choose not to drink within and outside of the same place freely…No at place at lunch and yes 6:30 after work etc.

Paganism is a term first used in the fourth century by early Christians for people in the Roman Empire who practiced polytheism or ethnic religions other than Judaism. And because of this developed in a way by Christians as a way to shame and slur those who wasn't Christian. Therefore it's just an offensive term for any religion that wasn't Christian. That would be propaganda along with that all pagans are devil worshippers when in fact pretty much none actually did.
Think of it like Hitler trying to say jews were to blame and evil devils. Pretty much Christians did that to anything that wasn't their religion, along with the same usage of the term Witch. To be called a Pagan or Witch back then would mean the same bad thing. Obviously witches nor these pagans were real evil people but it for sure helped Christians kill off those who disagreed with their opinion of god.
And that's the history pretty much, which means Pagans are just anything that isn't Judaism but is mostly a offensive slurr. So what they worship? Well it's multiple religions worshipping different things.
"Pagan" originally referred to Romans who didn't convert to Christianity. Today, it refers to those outside the "major" religions of a given area; as you might imagine, this means it can be applied to almost anybody. Outside of New Age-types, no one refers to themselves, or their faith, as "pagan", unless they're trying to shock someone's sensibilities (or they're the antagonist of Far Cry 4, but that was his NAME, not his religion).
Norse pagans worship the Norse pantheon (Odin and co.), and call themselves "Asatru". Hellenic pagans worship the Greco-Roman pantheon and call themselves- well, I don't know; there aren't any left.
Pagan is a blanket term usually in reference of any religion with more than one god
I for example am in a void cult I believe that my goddess of the void will comfort us after we die before casting our very souls away to be consumed by the void and stop existing
She doesn't have a physical form and doesn't request anything in turn for her grace but she certainly favors those aid the dieing (not as in saving them but giving them comfort as they die) and are generous to the dead
Keep in mind she is a goddess of death and doesn't actually do much for those who are alive unless proven worthy in her eyes (few are)

That's kinda the big religion before Christianity.
In fact if constantine the great before a big battle looked up in the sky and the reflection in the sky looked like a cross. So he won the battle said it was a sign from god and decided to change the official religion of ancient rome to Christianity instead of paganism. Since rome was ruler of most of the known world, Christianity became the dominant religion over paginism.
Who knows if wasn't for that, it might have been the big religion today.
Paganism is a really broad term. It's essentially any small practice outside of modern mega religions. Ya know how many branches there are in witchcraft? Dozens. Technically, pagans are really just a term the Catholics/Christians call people that don't worship our God. Kinda like the term infidel for the Muslims. Just non-conforming people of different faiths.
Paganism is basically just an ancient umbrella term for "any religion that is not ours or acknowledged by our religion".
And yes, most religions when vying for dominance depict the others as wrong. Worshiping evil, sinful and so on.
Can't really tell you what pagans worship as it is all religions that are not seen as major ones. Originally Christianity was seen as a pagan religion by Judaism. So there's that.

Pagans was simply the name given to those that didn't believe in "God". That could be druids believing in nature or Wiccans that believe in various creatures even Jesus, but mostly in pairs. Both Pagans and Heathens were just seen as "Different"/"Strange".
they have a buttload of gods. Take your pick and if it's not Christian, it can pretty much be included into Paganism. Odin, Loki and Thor are considered Norse Pagan gods. The Celtic and Egyptian gods are also included. So pagans offer sacrifices to the different gods depending on what they're praying for, rather than how Christians pray to the one God.
Pagan just means "old religion", so there is a huge variety of worship. For me, i worship nature and elemental spirits that help heal the earth and keep balance... basically a druid/nature-cleric
It is not that they are not liked by Christians. Christians know that they are lost souls and will only do to heaven by renoucing their beliefs and accepting Jesus Christ. as their lord and savior.
