Many spiritual books and texts were corrupted. The Qur’ān, though hasn’t been corrupted, has different meaning now and its language, ancient Arabic, has been lost due to the new modern Arabic, so few Arabic speakers actually understand it. However, there has been many scientific facts in the Qur’ān. The Bee, chapter 16, has 16 chromosomes. The location of The Ka`ba in Makkah is in the Golden Ratio the centre of the world. The chapter about Abu Lahab was written when Abu Lahab was alive, and it says that he’ll never become Muslim, and that’s what happened: Abu Lahab died a non-Muslim. How could Muhammad know all these scientific facts before enough technology was invented?
Probably. But the burden of proof lies with the one making the assertion; nobody asks you to prove that you DIDN'T kill JFK. Matters of faith ultimately aren't matters of logic.
I think He is. Life is too complicated for it not to be controlled by some higher power. Also what happens when we die?
On a more personal level, I have had spiritual experiences where I've been given signs and felt very connected to a higher power watching out for me or pulling me back in when I strayed the wrong way.
A friend brought this up, and I agree, to me the proof that there is none is that when I hear a believer talk about God, and the sentence or outcome wouldn't be different if they left the word 'God' out. What I call instinct and gut feeling, they call God.
@Guy13 To me it's people recounting memorable stories, or explaining things that can't be explained. I could tell a friend a story and she'd tell that story to a friend, but twist a few things here and there. By the time it reached person 10, the story will be totally different from mine.

That's a nonsense argument - what would evidence for non-existence look like?
It's not up to atheists to prove that every theists god doesn't exist, it's the job of the theists to prove their claims.
If I told you I have a talking dog, and you were skeptical because you'd never seen it, you wouldn't be convinced by me just going "Oh, well you can't disprove I have a talking dog!! :p"
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, they can't just be asserted.
You're confused.
God is not a hypothesis to prove or disprove. Thus dipshits trying it, are just attention seekers and time wasters who don't know better.
The more important thing is to ensure you're living and doing good with people who are good. You will never find such people being atheists.
You and I exist, right? Animals exist, right? Fruits exist, right? Sun, moon exist, right?
You actually think all this complexities of life can just magically happen out of nowhere without a brilliant mind behind it?
Just use the brain got gave you and reason logically and you'll get your answer if a extremely smart genius creator exist or not?
I have not found enough evidence of god to believe there is one, and I spent a long time looking.
@Guy13 Any evidence. Pointing at a tree and saying "god did that" isn't evidence. The "fine tuning" argument isn't evidence. Showing me passages in a book that corroborates other passages in the same book is not evidence. A feeling is not evidence. 100000 people telling me they believe something is not evidence.
I think the “there isn’t any evidence god doesn’t exist” is a lazy sidestep that anyone could use for any claim.
I believe he exists. And if he does, then he's a good person. He loves everyone equally. That's why it's important to treat everyone with respect.
You are under a misconception. Atheists don't need to provide proof that God doesn't exist, that would be impossible. It is the burden of theists to provide evidence that God does exist.
G0d is vey real. The evidence of that is all around us. It's called Creation.
@AndrésC64. My beliefs don't require you to agree with them.
@AndrésC64. It does not matter what you believe. Only what I believe. See how that works?
@AndrésC64. Makes it real for me.
Can’t prove a negative in this case. One either believes or one doesn’t. Faith isn’t fact.
Thats not how logic works.
Giant anus is hovering over everyones heads. Prove I’m wrong.
Yes of course
