I would like to believe in aliens but I see no proof. People like to use "many worlds-many star systems" explanation. But I say yes but think about our planet is at just the right angle to give us season. Our solar system has Jupiter to gobble up comets and other kuiper belt or oort cloud objects that try to make thier way into the inner solar system to do us harm. We have a not very temperamental star that give us live giving vitamin D and photosynthesis without high doses of radiation. Speaking of radiation we have a thick nitrogen rich atmosphere. I could go on, Yes many planets, many solar systems may have a lot of these. But all of these?
My personal belief is Earth is the cradle of life. A cosmic Eden if you will. As God intended it. And that there will be aliens. But those aliens will be us. As we she'd our earthly home we will colonize countless worlds. Some will be harsher environments then others. Evolution will continue. And over a million years. Humanity will diverge in to many branches. Many subsets based on the planets and environments we have made home.
And millions of years. In the future mankind (if that's what you want to call it will look back at it's fist steps into space much like we look back at our primordial ancestors. Ergo WE ARE the Aliens we seek.
Of course that's just the way I see it. 🤣🤣🤣
These are not mutually exclusive, it's not an either/or situation. You could believe both or neither of those things.
I'm neither. I don't think we're alone in the universe. Nor do I believe in some unknown spirit dimension.
Eh, no there's no proof. As many times as people have gone to space no one has mentioned seeing other individuals. But then again what's the point of other planets? Someone or something has got to be there. Who knows🤷🏽♀️
Absence of proof does mean it must not exist.
Germs have always existed but people couldn't see it til technology revealed it, besides the point those planets are several millions of miles away anyways.
We can't reach it.
It would be ignorant to assume we are the only intelligent life in the entire universe.

The Drake equation suggests we are currently alone. When time is factored in and the average life of a species (mammals on earth average 200,000 years) the the chances of two intelligent species existing at the same time are slim. The chances that there has been and will be other intelligent life forms is almost guaranteed.
I believe in a Holy Creator, God who created all kinds of things we have no knowledge of. And, that in General or Natural Revelation He reveals Himself in myriad of ways that evidences He/God Is.
As in the science fiction book Contact by Carl Sagan
"It would be aweful waste of space."
Yes evil spirit exist.
