That speaking in tongues is very strange.
Most Christians don't even know what it means, it's just a lot blabbing noise.
Speaking in tongues simply means speaking in a different know language to other people of that naive language so they can understand the gospel and there must be a interpreter of that language according to the Bible.
If there isn't a interpreter then the person who is speaking in a heavenly tongue must do so to himself and not before the congregation lest someone who isn't a Christian hears him speaking a bunch of gibberish and think he's crazy.
1 Corinthians 14 talks about it.
I think content matters far more than the language. If you are worshipping the devil, or Satan, or your prayers are for sinful things, then that's a problem. BUT, if this is just your prayer and worship in some other language/tongue than English, etc., then you're probably okay. God knows your heart so he'll see your intent and also see your obedience to your mother's desire.
Nah, it's just a con that those preachers do, and the gullible do it too so they seem more godly.

No not at all, you’ll be blessed with future knowing. Satan is barely powerful, doesn’t mana he isn’t powerful.
When you’re able to do tongues you’re on the highest level of divinity toward jehovah. He is the lord of the good, as much as evil.
With tongues you’ll feel a tiniest bit of his energy where he May show/tell things in a way you won’t understand language or won’t even understand scenes, but are about to happen in your life.
But asking him to do things favourable to you is not a nice choice.
If you like to live life not involving such energies it is also fine. Satan is known for not so friendliest of behaviour, a little powerful. But tongues has nothing to do with Satan. His energies are weaker when compared to one who speaks tongues.
Well, are you talking about the Devil, or are you talking about Satan? They're not the same, and neither one of them is Ahriman, so it's not much to worry about, even if you are.
No it's a waste of time I mean even if you believe in a God usually that comes with the idea that God has a plan for you in which case why are you trying to change it your basically praying a movie character not to die when your watching it or If you believe God's always looking out for you then he already knows the problem. Be proactive and fix your own shit if you need help from others say something
That would depend on whom you are praying to. Tongues dont matter. If its God himself, no harm no foul.
