Its peak is 2913 meters, was it not possible for antient people to go up?

I don't think it was not possible. People passed a lot of mountains and invaded big lands in antient times.

They didn’t it is like "modern college students" who are so sure what is "not in kuran" that they "don't need to check" nor read it, similarly primitives were just as primitive.

I think you have to view it like the Parthenon. It was built on the acropolis (the highest point in the city) and was the temple of Athena yet no one ever bumped into her there. I think you need to view Olympus as the place of the God's because it was raised into the heavens much like the symbol of the acropolis. Yet you're not going to bump into the God's there.

i think back then, people were not dumb enough to assume they were "actually real". i think back then there was a common understanding, that these are stories to convey values and morals. not "historical accounts".

Romans also believed in Greek Gods. They only changed their names. That is until christinaity.

Those antients gods were believed. They didn't think it was legendary.
