I get pretty depressed over this question, what's the purpose of "doing", why should someone keep going?

for simple actions, like job, if you have a family you have purpose to provide and make them happy. similarly you tie shoe for the purpose of the shoe staying and equaly the more complex life has a purpose... that is more complex. the way to find your purpose is to "look inside" what is your characteristics traits and skills then examine how you can use your abilities now.

meaning is something the human mind seeks in order to find a problem that needs fixing. cause that's the human minds primary function. meaning is not inherent in life or existence.

I would say that's individual and for each person to find out.
For some it's work, for some it's family and/or friends. For some it's a hobby and for some it's something completely different.
Oh yeah and for some it's religion.
