Which one do you think is better? The disciples of Jesus who abandoned and betrayed him or the disciples of Guru Gobind Singh who died for his cause?

I'm not interested in what happened to the disciples afterwards, I'm rather interested in their behaviour with their teacher/mentor when he was present between them!

It was only one disciple who allegedly betrayed Jesus, the rest abandoned as they were not soldiers. So they used their heads to further their cause.

In the case of Gobind they were soldiers, not disciples and lost to the British anyway. So they were stupid turban dancers, with little intellect and it's why Sikh's still don't have their own country.

Mostly all were except for Judas and John. I know one was sawn in half and another crucified upside down because he didn't think he deserved to be crucified upright like Jesus was.

Most of the Disciples were put to death in various ways for their faith. They may have run off at first, but after they had been filled with the Spirit they were on fire for God and stood up for their faith until death.
