What's something you've changed your mind about with age?

I changed my mind about mysticism and the "magic" of the universe. I used to not believe in it, but now I'm pretty well sold on it.

Like, that idea of zodiacs, occult magical thinking, a spiritual realm, or life energy present in everything.

I don't know how to explain it; it just makes more sense to me now.

The universe gives you what you need not what you want, things happen for a reason and working out the reason is key to being at one with the universe and what it has planned for you.

So difficult at times (for me a lot of the time lately) but embracing it is really the key to happiness as hard as it may be sometimes.

In 1996 i liked clinton -d, and i won! But then he started doing republican policies and i realized they were better so after that i voted bush-r and republican. Then in 2016 i was swayed by trump haters but trump turned out amazing benefit! I admit democrat is the bad way i had been wrong. Never again.

i'm suddenly on a vanilla ice cream kick where i never wanted it before except in an ice cream sundae. now i'm hooked on Häagen-Dazs and Ben & Jerry's vanilla. i can eat a whole pint so i have to be careful to only have it once or twice a month

I used think that physical punishment is a valid parental tool. Not like violent beating but a little slap on the bum or the hand if they miss behave severely. But apparently there's no benefit to that whatsoever and it turns out this only has negative consequences.
