No. You’re thinking of a famous phrase by Saint Paul: “It’s better to marry than to burn.” Marriage is a sacred covenant ordained by God. What St. Paul is saying is that people are going to get horny, so it’s better to relieve your sexual impulses in a monogamous relationship (which at the time always meant marriage) than to be promiscuous and burn in hell. The Bible does not say it’s better to be single.

Stay single and get closer to god and dedicate your life to him but also the bible encourages real love and marriage and creating a good sacred family
