I am talking in general. Say the average or norm of those you encounter.

But I was thinking of someone met recently. Well educated. I am sure she is smart in her own way but things like common sense... didn't seem to possess much of it.

Then I kept thinking and it's like yeah I know a number who don't have much common sense. Two colleagues didn't have the common sense to set their alarm clocks early to avoid a train that splits the town (the train has a set schedule).

I am aware there are intelligent people who have degrees.

I have also met people I'd consider very intelligent, such as a former colleague, but they have barely any education or sometimes none at all.

Dilemma looking to advance my degree. I'm having a hard time deciding which college to advance with.

Dilemma:

1st School: my previous college is starting an advanced education program and are self paced which helps with my current work schedule BUT they are only board approved and not accredited. Some employers want to know your school has a certain accreditation which my previous school whose offering this program doesn't. The price is also great, no interest on tuition, returning students get a discount. The price is the same as the 2nd school.

2nd School: there is a school who is accredited but it will have some small conflicts with my work schedule. It's not self paced like the other program and has deadlines. Flip side it's accredited, the price is great, and no interest on tuitions.
