Why I believe God has kept me single

I believe God has kept me single for the following reasons

1. To End The Cycle of Abuse

Growing up with very critical and neglecting family members and having been integrated into a bunch of haphazard and disparaging communities, I grew up with the belief that abuse was normal and did not know what it was like to be in a healthy relationship and I was often mentally and socially abusive towards others, even if my malice was weak and marginal. God wanted to heal me and cleanse me before I got married.

2. To Make Me A Better Bride

These last 15 years, God has been teaching me submission to God and to social expectations, patience for flawed and imperfect people, respect for employers and education centres, compassion for unhappy and lonely people, responsibility and honesty at school or work, industriousness and diligence in my social and professional opportunities.

3. To Beautify Me and Feminize Me

I’ve learned not to swear or use derogatory or pessimistic language, not to undersell my virtues or underscore my flaws by discussing them, not to shame myself or my family, not to be aggressive or confrontational, not to hoard attention or resources, not to be depressing or controlling, to use my words to bless others and not to harm or injure them

4. To Encourage Me to Be Productive

If I was married, I would not have completed my university degree and would not have come up with my 50 book outlines and would not have had the time or the energy to seek spirituality so that I could surmount my personality defects and ethical failures to learn humility and holiness and honesty and not to depend on others for happiness but only on God.
