I've become strict this year and developed boundaries. My mother confuses it for bitterness. I don't think so. Is what happened to me, the reason kind people are harder to find?

Emotional bullies:
At school, they take pleasure in humiliating you, have little to no empathy. They expect you to forgive and forget, act as if nothing happened when greeting you. This is the same as cleaning someone's mess and be ok with it.

Fake friends and family members.
I once forgave a female bully after a physical fight. I fell for her fake apology, fake tears and handshake. I didn't realize girls don't function the same way as guys. She faked it all for a year and gave me a fake phone number on my yearbook. Certain members in the family are only there for you during your success and good times but not during bad moments.

Takers:
The take and take... and the more kind you are... the more they take. They have no shame in how they're acting. However, if you need a favor all of the sudden they're busy, ghost you or are unavailable. They are online seeing your message and don't respond back. If they need a favor, they expect you to reply back quickly and help them.

Cheapskates:
This is different from saving money. They are the types that buy fancy, expensive things for themselves (it's always about them) but nothing for even their own mothers nor your own b-day. It's always a discount ticket or a cheap buffet, never spoiling you once at least. They are always broke but yet they're wearing expensive shoes, pretending to be wealthy. Or they invite you to their house just to watch a movie but real date.

Liars, lovebombers and scammers:
My ex boyfriend. He asked for money ($1,200) and never paid me back. He was a bum, vampire boyfriend too, lying about future plans and never progressing things. I learned he was really a sociopath that took pleasure in all that. He really wanted to drain all my fertile years for the sake of it. He lovebombed like crazy in the beginning and it was all lies.

Everytime me and my now ex boyfriend argue then we break up and no contact
then a few days later he would message me asking for something back

2 months ago
- he asked for his money back
then we talked and got back together

1 month ago
- he asked for his car documents and stuff back
then we talked and got back together

last week
- he's asking for spare keys back

What is wrong with him?
Is this his only way to get to talk to me after no contact?

A guy I love is my ex boyfriend, we been in long distance relationship for 6 months and I found out later that he been seeing an escort the whole time while we were together and after we meet I don’t know if he still fucking with another girls or not. He spend all his check to an escort to get a revenge on me because he thought that I cheated on him. He even told me that he used to see one white girls so many years since she was 18 and just turn to be a hoe and now she maybe 21-22? and he called her to come to his house and it ended up that she robbed him for $1000 and he even told me if she didn’t rob him and let him hit at the first time or the second time he will make her his girlfriend instead of me and break up with me after that. but when we were together he treated me nice except he talk to another girl.

A guy who put 100% on me mean that I never met him but not sure when he gonna come see me. When I told him I couldn’t afford my college he send money to pay for it. When I said I want a new phone he sends me money. He asked me what u doing I said I was watching YouTube so he send me $350 to pay for my YouTube premium so I don’t have to watch ads. And he always been like this never change. And he has a son and be with his son all the time so I don’t think he will see an escort and when I told him about my ex he was like “ew”he has a plan to buy me a car too , when he said anything he always keeps it. he has a plan to come to Thailand. And plan to have only me. His son older than me🥲

I help my ex with money when he was my boyfriend.
he is poor.

he broke up with me
he says we have no future because I don’t have a career and he has no job & too old to start anything in his view

he didn’t care to hurt me even if I said I didn’t care if he was poor.

I understand this we have nothing but it doesn’t mean we can’t try. In my view

he doesn’t want to work a regular low paying job he sees it as losers do that.

I had to beg him to be my friend, after the break up. he didn’t want to even talk to me.
i begged only until I could feel better. he blocks me a lot of I say things that make him mad and I have to repeatedly bag him to unblock me because I’m lonely.

having someone to talk to helps and I don’t have money to be paying a therapist.

I have money because my parents have money.

fast forward to today, i am still depressed but feel less sad on days we talk

sometimes he makes me more sad but overall at least I have someone to talk with

back to the purpose of the question

his mom suddenly became sick.
since he is poor he can’t afford to go to specialists and can only receive the medical attention that is free

she’s been in the hospital more than a week now,

still no answers on what is wrong and the situation is getting worse

she has pain, losing her vision & today they diagnose her with COVID

No answers on the initial problem but now gave her COVID. She did not have it when she got there.

he asked me if I could help him with money again
so that he can take her to a hospital in a better city

QUESTION:
would you Help him with money if you were me?

he’s obviously not going to pay me back because he’s Poor

i was saving money to do surgery on myself for aesthetic reasons.

somehow feels selfish to say no and then use the money I have to make myself look better.
if his mom gets sicker or dies I would feel guilty even though it’s not my responsibility.

what would you do?
