You know... I used to have a friend back home named Jason. He was 5'9", a ginger dude with a scruffy orange-red beard, was chubby/portly, and literally worked as an HVAC worker. He was my age at the time, 28, and already owned a (nice) house. He was as blue collar and "working class" as you can get.

After meeting up at a social event one evening, he eventually ended up marrying a 5'8" redheaded Greek model with huge breasts and a curvy figure named Ana, someone who I also knew. And a few years later in present day, they have a 6-year old daughter. No offense to him, but he was pretty dumb, but also generally a happy-go-lucky and positive person.

I never understood what any woman could possibly see in him outside of personality, as he was short, chubby, and not-at-all attractive looking. I mean, he was/is a good man, but generally women don't care about that (where I'm from).

Usually, back home in the US, the only men I ever saw with wives or girlfriends were taller working-class men (6' and up), or successful short men (under 6', but earning over $70K). Rarely any exceptions, if any. But women on GAG like to claim otherwise. They say they like the short, working class male with the dad bod who's only 5'8" to 5'11".

So I want to really see... Which type of man really is the most popular?

(And yes, I know these aren't their real heights on the poll. They're not actually Clark Kent or Bruce Wayne being described here though.)

Why is it that the media and social media portrays women as either a gym freak fitness model or they are big and "curvy". You never get average sized women. You get a bikini advert and its always a thin woman with abs or a bigger woman who has a fat ass and a makeup filled face. Yet they do not show regular women.

I am a photographer who takes photos of female models of all shapes, sizes and looks I am not after a certain body type. If anyone wants to feel good naked come infront of my camera and we can get creative.

It just annoys me how media tells you what the ideal woman and man should look like and they shove these false rules on us and this makes nornal women self doubt.

asking because I've heard that some women often find well groomed men who regularly dress nicely and are generally healthy to be more attractive. similar to how some men often find well groomed women who regularly wear flattering outfits and are generally healthy to be more attractive.

I've noticed that not a lot of men like women who wear heavy makeup on a regular bases though. most men seem to prefer women with a more natural look but I could be wrong.

yes I know - generally healthy can be vague since different people like different body types.
