I don't know if it's true or not but I feel very ugly myself and have no self esteem... so looking for hot girls on a dating app would make me feel like I'm pushing my luck or not worthy of them... So I will look for ugly girls so that my low self esteem doesn't interfere with anything, since I'm more confident around ugly girls, I feel like they're in my league and not better than meBut the thing is, since I'm not attracted to them and find them ugly... I can't really develope an emotional attachment, even if they have the best personalty ever I jus can't form an attachment to someone I find unnatracrtive, sorry if that sounds shallow but that's just how I am... I could disregard them like trash and don't fall in love with ugly people... Only reason I want a companion is cos I'm bored of my life and lonely

I tend to attract much younger women easier than women my own age. I had a fling going on with a 22 year old a few months ago. I’ve been recently texted up a 21 year old but swings from interested to flighty.

This has its advantages and disadvantages. On one end I’ll admit younger girls are usually hotter, more energetic and fun. Ironically I can be less guarded with some of my own vulnerabilities AFTER I establish a connection. I notice women closer to my age seem to get smart in the wrong ways (they find flaws quickly, fixate on them and reject prematurely).

But on the flip side I have to be very careful with younger women when it comes to avoid “the creep“ vibe. It’s just too easy to just say one wrong thing in beginning and it’s game over. It doesn’t matter if it’s intentional or not. I can’t get away saying a fraction of things I used to say in my youth.

But then I get worried about coming off as boring. Yes younger women like maturity in older guys but I got to be playful. But again it’s a pain in the ass that I have to be careful about joking around (e. g. sexual stuff). I was never the type to use pick up lines or make sexual comments right away but still. How would you like an older attractive guy to start a conversation with you?

I used to think I didn't care about girls intelligence level whatsoever, until I met this one girl who proved me wrong. There is a threshold that is too low for me to go in the intellectual department lol

But by and large I'd say a 2-3 for me. A girls intelligence really doesn't matter to me. Care more about other female traits. Like I've dated smart girls who illuminated me in some areas and some helped me learn new things that I appreciated like in college.

Specifically because it helped me throughout my college career. But that didn't make me like her more, make me attracted to her or even bond. It was just some cool shit I learned that I could use.

Usually I tend to not like girls who self describe themselves as smart because they tend to be in your face about it trying to PROVE they're smarter and overcompensate for some insecurities.

Rather than just be smart and cool at the same time. I appreciate intelligence but don't need it. Thoughtful, kind, caring, genuine. These things I care about far more
