Is it wrong to go for ugly girls?

I don't know if it's true or not but I feel very ugly myself and have no self esteem... so looking for hot girls on a dating app would make me feel like I'm pushing my luck or not worthy of them... So I will look for ugly girls so that my low self esteem doesn't interfere with anything, since I'm more confident around ugly girls, I feel like they're in my league and not better than meBut the thing is, since I'm not attracted to them and find them ugly... I can't really develope an emotional attachment, even if they have the best personalty ever I jus can't form an attachment to someone I find unnatracrtive, sorry if that sounds shallow but that's just how I am... I could disregard them like trash and don't fall in love with ugly people... Only reason I want a companion is cos I'm bored of my life and lonely

I would not suggest going for girls you aren't attracted to. That's not going to work out for anybody.

You need to work on the self-esteem to get more comfortable around girls you ARE attracted to. What you're thinking about doing is just a bad plan that won't get you the companion you're looking for.

I wouldn't say it's wrong but I think you shouldn't go for girls you're not attracted to. You admit you're shallow but it's okay. Everyone is at least a little bit shallow (including me). Even people who like to pretend they're not shallow actually are. It looks like some people on here are shaming you for it but you shouldn't be shamed for it.

There are attractive girls out there that date guys that aren't considered conventionally attractive. If you're attracted to a girl, try approaching her in a friendly way and asking her out. It doesn't hurt to try. If she rejects you (hopefully politely) then move on and find someone else. There's someone for you

But treat people with respect. If you're going to reject someone, do it politely. Don't bring anything up about the person's facial features when doing so. A simple "no thank you" is fine

The way you treat "ugly" is girls is the way "hot" girls are going to treat you. Attraction doesn't only work on a physical level and if that is only what you're into, you're not going to go very far in your love life. Someone who knows they're shallow should work on their mindset before going on hurting other people who might have been genuinely interested in you.
