I live in Berlin and have a pretty tough dating life because every person here wants an open relationship, including married people. I personally never understood this since I always had crushes on only one person at a time and I believe that if you've found the right person you don't look around for other opportunities. Also I don't believe you have enough time and energy to devote yourself to more than one person given all responsibilities (job, family, friends etc.). Am I just prude? Do people enter open relationships or even marriages because they don't want to be alone while they are waiting for their ideal partner?

He knows that I like him and he used to like me too but we never dated. Now that he found himself a girlfriend whenever I look at him he looks away on purpose and seems tense and uncomfortable. He also unfollowed some of his former crushes he used to admire for years on instagram. Why does he do this? Does he only do it for his girlfriend? Or does he do it to avoid temptation? Or is it the opposite and he is completely over them?

Have been slightly flirting with my stranger crush for years (just smiling and looking from afar) but nothing ever happened. Crush found out I like him through friends of friends and knows that I am a hopeless romantic. Now I see him talking to his friend while sneaking glances at me from afar every time I see him and sometimes staring at me on purpose. I feel like he is contemplating how to approach me which I find surprising since he always likes at least 3 girls at a time and doesn’t seem to be a relationship Kind of guy. Also he has a (girl) friend he recently went on vacation with alone (they both posted it on their insta) and he goes to puppy yoga with. I feel like he flirts with any girl that pays him a tiny bit of attention and doesn’t really know what he wants. Given these circumstances do you think he would approach me, a hopeless romantic, if he only wanted something casual with me? Apart from relationships with girls he seems like a serious and decent kind of guy
