Pedophiles, for obvious reasons, don't enjoy the same kind of tolerance, and thus it seems as if they may be locked forever in a sexual prison from the moment they're born. A pedophile is a person with a sexual and emotional orientation towards (some) children. It is not a choice. Dealing with being a pedophile is not easy. As a young person you lack a perspective of a healthy sexual life style, that of having a family. The burden of having sexual fantasies of which you know that you cannot put into practise, can sometimes be very heavy to carry. Pedophiles certainly deserve sympathy for their challenges in life. Instead they receive hatred, violence and social exclusion. Pedophiles should be judged on their actions and less on their sexual orientation. It isn't important what your thoughts are, it is what you do that matters. Sympathy for pedophiles should depend on what they have done and what they have endured."
