So we did a group project on behaviour when it came to online dating. I asked two friends could I use their pictures. Friend one is extremely attractive both facial and body. Really takes care of herself and the way she dresses, has always dated a certain type of man. Friend two is cute in a very natural way, She is a very free spirit who is not into her appearance but has a quirky style.

The focus we put on was mainly friend one, she got over 2000 within a few hours. She filled in her bio saying she what she likes and the man she was after. It was very blunt and thought it would turn men off. However she got a lot of guys she wanted but there were lots of men that did not meet this description but still decide to swipe.

Friend two did not get as many likes even though her bio was more fun and free spirited. Didn’t list exactly what she wanted in a man.

Are people more confident on online dating? What are your tinder habits when it comes to swiping? Do you just swipe at random or are you picky?

Ok so I met this guy and we really hit it off until we both realized our dating styles are way different. Personally I like to get to know someone before taking that first step as a couple, as boyfriend and girlfriend. And I think that's pretty reasonable. BUT he wants to be exclusive from the get go, like "if you're gonna see me you can't see anyone else." And that's without the labels. Immediate Exclusivity without being a real couple. I get that everyones different and he has every right to have his standard's, but does anyone else think this is a strange way of going about a relationship?
